I wouldn't mind. Might be our only chance to get Wolverine in an R-rated movie, and have some really bloody action.

This is like the 3rd time Ryan Reynold met a fan who is a kid at the set and I'm thinking... will these kids able to see the film next February if its R-18? I can't help to think those kids are actually part of their target demo and the film isn't rated R.

Kids can have interested in R-rated content. Look at all the old R-rated movies that got turned into toys and cartoons.

Not to mention that probably half the Grand Theft Auto videogame sales are because of these kids. lol

Fox has slightly updated the official website, updating the credits. 'Deadpool' is produced by SIMON KINBERG, LAUREN SHULER DONNER and RYAN REYNOLDS.

Umm what?
What I am saying if this is truly Rated R... these kids visiting the set wont see the film in a theater.

They made Reynolds a producer on this. He deserves it.

Think he's been a producer for quite some time. But nice to see it official.

Not by themselves. But I doubt the parents or many others would refuse taking/allowing these make a wish kids the chance to see a movie starring one of their favorite characters. Some of them may not be able to get to the movies at all because of their illness, in which case a lucky few can be even given a private viewing opportunity. Even if they didn't allow them to see the movie they still get to meet one of their favorite characters, the fact Wade has cancer himself may be something thats inspiring to them. Not alot of superheros with cancer for them to have that in common with.

While I'm sure there are plenty of strict parents, there are more then a few out there who have no problem taking their children to R films. I'm not familiar with the UK rating stuff but in the states this won't be a problem. There will no doubt be children in the theatre when Deadpool opens. Just not in droves, or in large groups by themselves.

Definitely. I'm sure plenty of us grew up with Aliens, Predator, Blade, Matrix, Terminator etc.

I feel bad for those who didn't haha.

I dont know man it was just an observation....Im not sure if the X-Men and the Wolverine films had so much visits from fans who were kids. Though you could be right about these kids wanting to meet Ryan.

Though R means restricted... kids are required to be 13 and above or 16 or 18 (depends which state or country you are in) to enter the cinema.

That just means they can't go without someone who is old enough.

The fact that Emma and co. let Miller and Reynolds run with an R-rating means they're prepared to let go of that particular demographic, and with how Kingsman turned out like we've gone over multiple times here, the film will do fine. If it did Kingsman money I'm sure Fox would be stoked.

They will be stoked if it does half of Kingsman's run. While I hope it makes more, anything over 150m is a strong win for a 50m flick.

Yup!

@VancityReynolds
#Deadpool has been a privilege to make. And we got to make this film because of you. Gonna eat a samich now. #wrapped

Hopefully we will start seeing or hearing about stuff by July. Posters will probably start showing up at preview night for SDCC, with a teaser at the panel.

I bet that deadpool will be the king of this year's comic con. The footage for the movie is going to be killer

By the way, how much was the budget for kingsman?

I wanna say we'll be seeing RR in his Deadpool costume at SDCC.
