I think I'd be more worried, if they did't have a single reshoot day.

Why would you? If there weren't any reshoots, it'd mean that they've got everything they need.

Who gets all they need? They had about a month of filming, add that to a small budget. That the studio gives them a another week of filming and doesn't say. "No more money for you. We'll release it as it is." is IMO, a good thing.

They also had a test screening not long ago. Probably got some notes from that.

Filming at every previous location is enough to raise my eyebrow, but I don't see any reason to be concerned just yet.

They shot the movie March - June, and the movie's budget is $60 million.

Sometimes reshoots are a bad sign, i.e. the studio tinkering with the director's version, or bad test screening results.

I just hope these reshoots are going to be done because Tim Miller & Co. asked for more money to improve some things.

Often that's not the case. Sometimes reshoots can make movies worse. Unfortunately.

Fingers crossed! Good news is that they're filming for just a week, so it's probably nothing major. I just want this movie to be great, and the filmmakers' vision not to be compromised by the studio or poor confidence.

The film comes out in like 3 months so they just flat out don't have the time to do anything heavy.

Every film has reshoots. The only sketchy thing here is that there are allegedly many locations.. These could be very minimal pick ups. Fox also very well could just be more confident in the film and willing to throw more money after it's landed them ton's of youtube hits and press at SDCC.

The red band trailer itself aint too far from matching DOFP's in hits. I highly doubt they expected that.

Reshoots are basically the standard for any superhero movie these days, and are planned before production starts, so I don't think there's any reason to worry about that until there's any rumors hinting towards that things aren't going well.

I'd say it's a smarter way of making a movie since you're always likely to get new ideas when you actually see what kind of footage you have. What worked and what didn't work as well.

I just hope Ryan Reynolds breaks his CBM curse for once and for all. Blade: Trinity, Green Lantern and his top grossing CBM X-Men Origins: Wolverine all sucked. He's also been in a lot of not so good films though I enjoyed The Proposal.

Not superstitious, so I don't believe in 'the comic book curse.' But yeah, I hope he'll catch a break from all the flack he's getting. He's a good actor and very likeable. I'd hate for his career to go down. Like Michael Biehn's did.

But Deadpool is different. He's a producer on the movie, so he's partly responsible for the outcome this time. I have faith in the guy. He managed to get it back to an R rating, after they had been asked to make it PG-13 at one point.

Don't forget RIPD too
Reynolds wants more than anyone for this movie to be awesome

Lot's new info. Looks like Cable was going to appear at one point but now they want him to be saved for a sequel.

They confirmed Vanessa has no powers but will get them in a sequel if one is made. Baccarin says she still gets some action scenes.

Colossus is gonna have a big fight scene with Angel Dust.

There will be references to the X-Men and other mutants.

Deadpool is pansexual.

The soundtrack is gonna be mostly 80's and 90's music.

The new movie is about 70 percent of the leaked script. The rest is new material.

Plus also:

Stan Lee will cameo

There will be a post-credits scene

And appereantly there will be no 3D.

Among the interesting tidbits there is that James Cameron and David Fincher both read the script and sorta nudged Fox to make the film. Tim Miller has got some friends in high places!

Do we know if the origin part of the story is set in the 90s? Because the mention of mostly 80s and 90s music I find to be abit of an odd mention, plus talking about pop culture references we get that little posh spice joke thrown in when he insults that guy which seems abit dated for today

All of those new details sound great and just make me more excited for the movie, can't wait even more now! I imagine we are due a new trailer soon as well?

Glad to hear the confirmation on Nessa.

The origin section could but I think we are getting 90s references along with 80s/90s music from the film regardless of year it takes place. Though characters like Weasel would have aged quite a bit, so I don't think it takes place then.

The 80's/90's soundtrack could just be there because the late 80's and early 90's were when Liefeld and X-Force first took off. It's a throwback to the era.

Deadpool and X-Force were not quite around in the 80s but if a song fits it shouldn't mater the decade. Tons of directors use older songs in their films. There are very specific tracks in the script that were made even before 85. And the DMX track is from the early 00's. So it's gonna be all over the place, just like Deadpool.

But yeah all the 90s stuff just fits Deadpool anyways given his creation. Everyone has been using mostly 70s and 80s music/references for quite sometime so it will be nice to see the 90s get some love.

I dunno if they are flashbacks or what but either the origin stuff is set in the 90s or the director is just big on 90s nostalgia

I think it's more Ryan Reynolds. Alot of this stuff was in the script prior to Miller.

If the X-Men timeline wasn't always in question I don't think there would even be people thinking about it. Pop culture references from various decades are bound to happen with Deadpool. He name drops all the time. We got Burt Reynolds and Saved by the bell references before the trailer was even out.
