2 hours is too long for an action comedy.

People have other s**t to do. :o

The movie length should be whatever works for the script. I know I prefer two hours because I'm paying ten bucks for a ticket and like to get my money's worth, but that's selfish.

Really long movie tend to drag toward the end so I'm fine with the run time on this

Not really, no.

This.

Anyway, it seems like the Fox Spain runtimes are pretty off, so we'll have to wait for confirmation.

Yeah, a 90 minute movie can drag if it's not a good, well paced film.

This. More is not always better. Though sometimes I think movies cut a bit too much of the smaller scenes, shorter movies are generally more focused on the story they are telling. Heck X1 was only 104 minutes. I suppose it might be similar to X1 and Fant4stic in that regard, in that it is a stand-alone story that sets up a bigger world for it's characters. But I do believe it will be better than both of those movies. ;)

That's not true, either. There is no longer or shorter movies are better. The running time should be based on the story the filmmakers want to tell and the way they want to tell it. Some movies need a longer runtime, others work perfectly fine in shorter form. There is no formula such as 'shorter is better' or 'longer is better.'

Exactly. Lately I was watching a movie which ran about 80-90 minutes (don't ask me which one, I forgot, which means I probably didn't like it) and it DRAAAAAAGGED like hell.

Will buy :hmr::hmr::hmr::

This. Too bad those are usually like really expensive, and I don't have the money to spend right now. But yeah looks amazing!

I've never been able to justify the price of them in the past but I am tempted to make the once exception in this case, it looks perfect.

This is the displaying model in the Hong Kong Hot Toys Secret Base. Looks really good.

2016 will be Ryan Reynolds' and Ben Affleck's comeback year, good luck to the two of them!

Rhett Reese:
Before you worry about Deadpool's running time being "too short" at 106 minutes, know that Zombieland's was 83.

Seems like a confirmation to me.

Great point.

Want some more great points?

Neither seems rushed, superficial or 'too short' to me.

I mean, Affleck already got good reviews for The Town...and then won an Oscar for Argo. So I think he's already "back" so to speak.

But I really hope this thing gets big for Ryan.
