Dem trailers!! O_O Green band was fine (better than I expected, given the material, and reaction to the CC footage), but that red band, tho... I am legit excited for this movie.

More so than X:Apocalypse or BVS, and, as someone who's never read the comics and has only a tangential knowledge of DP, I'm hoping I represent the general audience, and this movie makes a mint. RR was born to play this part, and everything else looks spot on.

Honestly, the worst thing is the trailers/promotional material not living up to the final product; otherwise, this will be a filthy crowd-pleaser that I'll be happy to take friends to.

Only thing I didn't like was the really old soundtrack (uhhh Salt & Peppa and DMX???). What happened to the "Holla Back Girl" that played in the test footage? That was funnier.

Can't wait for this though. My most anticipated CBM of 2016.

Haven't been following this as close but can someone confirm to me if it's been confirmed by the executives that this film is a officially a part of the X-Men Film series or if it's to be seen as its own thing, without any shared continuity to the other X-Men films?

I don't know crap about Deadpool, but I'm absolutely certain I will go and see this movie.

Violence? Profanity? Weird jokes? Check, check, check, and I'm in.

But one thing in this trailer got me by surprise. That little bit when they're taking Wade to...operation? Right before he says his super suit lines. Look at Reynolds. Now this is something that may not mean much to many, but I can see genuine fear and worry on his face. I know this movie will have its own sense of humor and we're in for entertainment, but I didn't expect to be actually moved by a mere glimpse of a second in a Deadpool trailer.

That little glimpse is suggesting - for me, at least - that this movie might not be just good and tonally correct, but possibly a real diamond.
