Brilliant poster!:D

I love that they've resisted the urge of showing the lead actor unmasked in the poster campaign. I suppose Ryan Reynolds' string of box office disappointments may have had something to do with that.

And Wade being butt ugly.

The poster tagline should have been "Ready to unload…"

:funny:

Nothing really new, but Ryan Reynolds fooling around with the Christmas standee.

That is such a great standee. They know the pull of social media so designed it so people will go to take pics sitting on Santa-Pools lap

I love that new rap battle. Perfect timing on their part.

I almost wish they delay this film. I don't want the marketing to ever end. Brilliant stuff.

Hopefully the marketing for the blu ray will be just as fun.:woot:

I hope they include all the viral and marketing videos in the blu ray release.

So, we getting something from Empire magazine today?

Yep, we will. My bet is on new stills from the movie.

"For my costume, not my mouth you jerk"

Amen.

Fox have to have faith in the final product to be putting this much effort into the marketing. I can't remember them ever really going all out like this on any other of their superhero films.

Since they greenlit the movie from the reaction of the test footage and went all out in pleasing the fans with the costume and the marketting I hope the movie does well financially otherwise that will say to them that such things mean nothing in the end

2 silencers
3 loudeners

that is pretty good

and this is all leading up to the trailer, right?
cuz while these are fun, I def want something a little more substantial

The trailer will be online this Christmas.

Did anyone else see Box Office.com long range box office prediction forecast for this. I know there is buzz for this film, but it seems a bit much. I do hope it happens though.

175m domestic? That would be amazing!

I know it's R but kids were obsessed with the Deadpool stand yesterday when I saw Star Wars. I think alot of parents are gonna end up taking them. Regardless of the rating.

So kids love Mr. Wade. Could a possible sequel to this film be pg 13, I wonder. Deadpool also kinda looks like Spiderman, kids love him too.

If this movie is successful enough to warrant a sequel, I don't see them chickening out and making a PG-13 sequel.

And kids liking R-rated action movies isn't anything new. I grew up playing with RoboCop and Terminator 2 action figures and loving those movies. The Matrix was another one of those movies older kids went nuts for when it came out. People need to stop being so sensitive. If you grow up in a good household, and you're parents have done a good enough job to teach you the difference between movies and real life, an R-rated actioner won't mess up a kid.

175m would be great. We'll see how Deadpool will do at the box office. Personally, if the movie is as good as we all hope it is, I hope it'll do The Matrix and Kingsman numbers.

By the way, about a month ago I came across an Ed Skrein interview from last summer, in which he revealed that the production budget was $60m.
