Price isn't a problem. I'll check all those out. Thanks guys!
I second all these things. I've actually enjoyed this current volume quite a bit especially when compared to the second half of Daniel Way's Run.Definitely Deadpool classics like Endless mentioned. Some other good ones are:
-Suicide Kings
-Cable Deadpol volumes
-Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender
-The Good, The Bad and The Ugly by Duggan
If he likes the more zany Deadpool stuff then Wolverine: Origins vol 5 by Daniel Way is a good choice. Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe is really popular.
Weird, wonder if that's why it went to two channels.
After XM:A, with the exception of possibly watching Wolverine 3, I had no intention of watching further Fox comic movies like Gambit, Deadpool, or further X-movies after Apocolypse in the theaters and was going to wait for Bluray on those
No, I just thought your answer was poorly thought out. Someone disagreeing with you DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE RIGHT.
Please stop quoting/responding to me. You're going to be a Hype meme and I want no part of it.
I want to get into the Deadpool comics.
What are your top 5 must have?
I remember seeing a cover with all the heads of the marvel characters on the floor. I don't know if that was a parody or a real storyline in his comic.
To me it says the studio is just letting this film be what it wants to be. They seemingly don't give a **** if it's a big box office hit and would be happy if it's a modest cult hit.
I don't know how you could be negative about this. We're getting a Deadpool film that may have a smaller budget... but is basically getting free reign. It's like an indie movie being made by a big studio. They should be praised for their willingness to let the film makers do what they want and actually catering to the fans for once. I mean seriously, that April Fools Day interview alone wouldn't exist if the film wasn't rated R.
I can't believe we are getting an R rated Deadpool. God, I hope this thing is a success and above all a good fun film. Reynolds seems so sincere and seems to really love the character.
I've never been sold on Reynolds, he's been pretty unimpressive in every role I've seen him in so far, but this just might be the one to change my mind.
Buried was pretty damn good.
Yet the Kelly run still features graphic violence that you said don't need to be shown. If I remember correctly the whole rating system changed late 90s early 00's because of X-Force titles. The rating system for Marvel comics was different then. Your basing this on an old system that is now irrelevant.
The majority of Deadpool comics are aimed at older teens and adults. I know this started at least with Cable Deadpool having many issues with T+ and the other Deadpool , X-Force and mini runs having Parental Advisory. Hence why pretty much everyone wants it R. Deadpool didn't even find a big audience till the mid 00's. While your obviously allowed to disagree with the films choice, you can't just act like only the 90s comic rating matters. It doesn't. Things change with time and that's just the way it is.
Anyways, you had a bunch of replies that I disagreed with but I'm done. I don't think there's a point anymore. I hope you can enjoy the film because going from the leaked script we are lucky as **** to get something so close to the original run and in tune to the character. After 10 years of talk we are finally getting this!![]()
