Deadpool & Wolverine Deadpool & Wolverine at the BoX office

Huge congrats to Reynolds, Jackman and Levy.

After the buyout, I never expected this to happen. The fact that it did and it made this much money, just goes to show you how beloved both of these guys are.

Hopefully, this is just the beginning for these two going forward.

:dpf: :wolverine

A good time to look back at how hilarious it is that this version of Deadpool only got off the ground because this leaked:

Idaknow if there's a bigger example of how oblivious execs can be than the fact that they didn't think this version of Deadpool would appeal to audiences, yet were perfectly fine with the Origins version. How is that even possible?

Nice to finally get a new entrant on there. We were getting a new one every week during Phase 3. :D

D&W should be able to overtake a few more at the bottom before it’s done, IM3 at least I would have thought.

It should stroll past that in the next day or two. Just a question of where it will finish? $1.5b Or higher?
To get to the really silly numbers it would need overseas to give a strong majority of the income and at present the overseas isn’t a whole lot more than the (crazy) domestic. Going to be a huge number nonetheless and take down a few more titans of cinema before it’s done.

I can see it getting up to and over Black Panther's WW total, probably AoU too. Whether or not is passes Avengers or not is where I think it will end up.

Any of these are possible depending how extreme the WOM is. $1.2B seems like a cakewalk from here and anything above that is gravy.

Going for round 4 and (maybe 5) and taking 500,000 of my friends to kick some Ultron butt👀

Deffo want to see this at least one more time in the cinema, feels like a long time since seeing it now but the first time was a blur with all the hype and surprises I could never have guessed.

Its worth seeing just for that opening on the big screen alone.

Seeing it for the 11th time tonight. Surprised to see about half the theater full... on a Monday!
11th wow!! Been a long time since my days of mass rewatching event films in the cinema. Glad to hear the cinema is still half-full and you must be enjoying the film a ton!

Yeah in my local theatre already has bookings for Saturday and most showings in the week are still half full compared to newer films that only have two or three booked out seats already. Going to be sometime before it leaves cinemas and goes to streaming in this case. It seems to have good legs still after 3 weeks.

Impressive, last movie I watched that many times in theaters was Guardians of the Galaxy. I once saw Sunshine back to back, such a beautiful movie.

Have you, or anyone, seen this in 4DX or Screen X? Thinking of seeing in it on those formats. 4D iMax was fun but the 3D didn't really add anything. I've heard 4DX was fun and mixed reviews about Screen X.

4DX was fun. Though it was my first time being shaken to my core, while watching a movie.

Didnt even need the weekend to do it!! Jesus and the Joker put to bed. DP and Wolverine are top dogs, for now......
