Should the obnoxious, but very efficient detective be involved in the manhunt for the Dark Knight?

Would you like to see him included and portrayed by who?

I love that idea. It's the perfect time to introduce Bullock, really!

I'm also interested in the exploration of a certain female-cop-turned-Question..

I'd love to see Bullock.

He is one of my favorite supporting characters in BTAS.

I thought Bullock was the BTAS version of Flass

Nope. He was never corrupt. Well, not corrupt in the same way that Flass was. More, frame a dude for a murder cuz he couldn't prove he murdered somebody else kinda guy.

Pre-crisis Bullock was crooked. Post Crisis Bullock was "soiled" but not dirty.

And framing somebody for a murder they didn't commit means he's crooked.

bullock killing gordons assassinator was awesome, sad he had to retire the badge untill recently.

Didn't James Gandolfini have a meeting with Nolan a while back during casting for Batman Begins? Maybe he could be considered for Bullock

Mickey would be cool.

The police and swat are chasing Batman across the rooftops. Gordon(Oldman) fighting with Bullock(Roukre),cause he has ordered everybody to fire everything at Batman. I would love to see a scene like that from Mask of the Phantasm.

After Mad Hatter, this character gets the weirdest casting suggestions.

I wouldn't have thought of Mickey Rourke in relation to this role, but I really like that suggestion, his attitude would be fantastic for Bullock.
Losing the big unhealthy fat guy motif would not be so bad for this character, keeping the attitude is the important thing. It would be good to see an active, in action Bullock, one who is not afraid to tell it how he sees it and bark in Batman's face. We already got the grubby fat stuffing his face cop cliche used for Flass, a a more grizzled Rourke Bullock would be great.

Bullock isn't Flass though and if they do him the same way it was done in tas people won't confuse the two of them . I do want to see Bullock and this would be the perfect time for him to come into it.

If Bullock is in the movie, dont expect a big actor like Mickey Rourke. Expect more someone like the guy that played Flass, or the guy that played Wuertz.

It depends on how big the part is of course. Say they put him in the movie as the leader of the Batman task force and it was a biggish role, akin to Micheal Caine as Alfred, or Morgan Freeman as Lucious Fox.

bullets: I wasn't really meaning that people would get confused between Flass and Bullock. I'm just saying that kind of doughnut eating grubby fat cop image is a cliche, and they've already used it in this series. I'd just like a slightly different image to go with the attitude of Bullock.

Vincent D'onofrio is a good choice i think.

Yes of course. But I dont think we should assume Bullock will have a big part.

Bullock isnt second rate like Flass and Wuertz.

His presence in the comics is much greater and Mickey certainly has that presence. It would be cool if Bullock and Gordon were at logger heads, like Bullock was in competition to prove he would better as Commissioner. Bullock as we know isnt keen on Batman, this movie should show the hate he had for him, coming dead close to killing him. I would like this to carry on into future movies and after Batman is cleared, they still have that dislike tension about them.

They didn't meet. But word is that Gandolfini wanted the role of Maroni very badly and was pursuing it pretty hard. Good thing they didn't go with him b/c I don't think Batman holding Maroni on the ledge would've worked with Gandolfini. He was enormous during the last season of the Sopranos and he hasn't seemed to have lost that weight.
