lol i thought the beginning was a clip from the season finale (which hasnt even filmed yet) ... that part was crazy... but killing a dude in the airport? the day after deb saw him kill someone? that was odd... but i guess necessary for the ukraine mob stuff to tie with dex.

Yea, I was scared this show was going to do the typical 1 step forward, 2 steps back it does when something crazy happens but they carried their balls into the end of this episode. So good...

Now, as long as they don't give her "amnesia" later

Dexter is back and true to form. I can't even begin to explain how awesome this episode was. Only thing I think was weird was how quick [BLACKOUT]they killed Mike off.[/BLACKOUT] That's the only thing that stroked me as odd. This is shaping up to be the best season yet and I couldn't be happier. I'm really looking forward to sundays now.

I think Dex will end up killing her... as either a mid season high point, or in the finale... depending on how far this BHB stuff goes...

This episode felt very much like the earlier seasons IMO. like someone else said, I cant wait til sunday.. again...

one thing that bugs me, it seems like all the characters, besides deb and dex, have moved forward in time... all of a sudden Quinn is basically back to being Quinn. eh minor nit pick, but yea the

mike anderson death is a cheap story ploy to make the characters concentrate on something else... minus LaGuerta, Deb and Dex.

I wasn't at all happy where they took Quinn's character so I'm fine with some regression to an earlier more stable form.

Also I was keeping an eye out for it but there's nary a forced romantic subplot in sight.

I'm fine with Quinn being Quinn, just noting how odd it was that they continued the season directly from last season and Quinn is normal again.

And I wonder what Deb will think of that romantic subplot (if you are thinking what I am, its another blonde...Dex loves his Blondes.)

what if LaGuerta finds Dexter's fingerprints on the blood slide and then confronts him but the twist would be she would be ok with him after he explains how Doakes died in a vague way

Probably won't happen but it could be something they may do
