So, yeah, finally watched the bloody premiere and... I'm shocked. That was actually really, really good. It's almost like they got in a new room of writers but there doesn't seem to be any change in the backroom staff at all.

I'm a little worried as to how the Ukrainian gangsters will work out as Big Bads but the Deb/Dex stuff is good enough so far to compensate. Michael C. Hall is also back to his best, finally getting something meaty to play with, after a few seasons where he risked becoming a parody of himself.

It's so nice to be excited about Dexter again!

Ya that was some great character development. Really want to find out what is going on with Louis, I mean the balls on that guy have to be the size of coconuts. He seemed genuinely scared when Dex first got to him but then he wouldn't back down. I'm more interested in that plot line than the Ukrainian guys right now. LaGuerta slowly pricing it together too. Lots of really interesting things going on this season

Another stellar episode at the beginning of this season and another great line by Masuka.

That ending was amazing. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Though if Deb is really trying to treat this like an addiction she has to know Dexter is going to have as many good days as bad days. She is the world's worst rehab specialist so far.

Amazing season start! The first 2 episodes were so much better than I expected! After a couple of weaker seasons, Dexter is finally at the top of the game!

Given their history, I'd like to see Deb take out Laguerta to protect Dexter once she finally finds out who he really is. That would be sweet. Plus, she'd be even more caught up in the mess than she already is.

The only thing that irks me is why haven't they lifted fingerprints off of the blood slides? I know Dex wears gloves but the ones from the FBI for the original BHB have his prints all over them cuz he used to pull them out all the time. Other than that this is shaping up to be the best season yet

The second episode was even better than the premiere. Hands down, the best opening of Dexter to date.

Such an awesome second ep and next week looks to really pick things up. And Louis likes Aquaman, who knew! Heh, also found it funny that "Wayne" Randall mentioned Batman at the end.

This season is really promising to be the best.

I like Dex and Deb's scenes but I wish she'd taken more time to accept it, I'm not suggesting dragging it over 5 episodes but this was a good character development moment for her and it felt somewhat rushed, although Deb punching Dex in the face was hilarious, also the ending was harsh reminder of reality, just when things looks quite bright for a moment there.

Haha man Deb had her badge in her hand when she punched Dexter haha OUCH! They should have given him a black eye for the rest of the episode for real and him having to try and explain to Angel and Masuka where it came from, coulda been funny

This second episode was just so intense. I was very disappointed when the hour was over, lol. I wanted it to just keep going. You know it's just a matter of time before Louis ends up on Dexter's table.
