Horror Dexter - Part 6

I can see why, LOL!!!! It deserves dissection and to be tossed into the ocean like one of his victims!

I agree that the last season was bad overall, but the big problem I had with people is how a lot of them acted like the whole series was ****** all of a sudden because of it.

Oh, like I said, this is an A+ show! Just ended poorly. Most shows have poor endings, LOL! Ask Sopranos fans about that finale!

The series overall isn't bad, is just a little sad thinking all the different things they could've done with the character, all the different directions they could've gone, but no. They always stayed in the comfort zone. That's the main thing that pissed me off most of the time.

dexter is half A- half D+... and i am a die hard fan.

i take that back.. half A- half C. the bad seasons had moments.

Yea, I just finished the show a few weeks ago and the last season was just bad. I had my moments of thinking I'd just stop watching but I pushed through to that weak ending.

Hopefully down the track there will be a revival of the Dexter character.

I have just been watching some episodes of Chuck and they have Chevy Chase playing a pretty good baddie. He could be great as a twisted brother of John Lithgow's great Arthur Mitchell character!

Who else would like to see a small 3-4 episode mini series of Dexter and Dr. Danco?

even if it drastically separates itself from the TV series, it would be awesome to bring back the same actors for an unrelated 'spinoff'

we could fan fic it :o

It should start with Dexter waking up and the last 3 or 4 seasons were just a REALLY horrible nightmare.

season 6 and 8 were terrible... 3 was ok... the other seasons i have no problem with really... 5 is a lot darker than people give it credit for...

I'm not sure I can get over the fact they turned Dexter into a lumberjack.

a lumberjack who fought and won against a hurricane*****

Really random bump. I doubt they'll do anything like this without just rebooting it with a new cast, maybe something closer to the books or something since I understand it deviated a lot from the source.

If they revive it for a miniseries they'll probably just have Hall back and continue off from where the series left off with some serial killer in the area, and Dexter's dark passenger reawakening or something pointless like that.

i just really wanted to see Dr. Danco on screen lol

Aside from the first novel, The Dexter books are dog****. They go supernatural and it's rather stupid.

I heard that only one of the books went supernatural although not having read them I don't know for how long it actually went on for. I also heard they weren't very good after the first one or two books.

it's more than just the Moloch stuff, in Dearly Devoted, they talk about how they can see each other's dark passengers... its ridiculous.

in the show he also sees other peoples darkness so..

books one and two are good... three is garbage... there was some silly one with vampires... there was another that was good though, until the ending where the villain got eaten by a random shark.

In the TV show, he doesn't see physical manifestations of other people's darkness the way he does in does in the books.
