#1: Season 2
#2: Season 1
#3: Season 4
#4: Season 3

The Bay harbor butcher plot line with Doakes was the high point of the series as far as I´m concerned.

The thing that has been bothering me with the current season is how sloppy Dexter is being with Arthur.

Assuming that Dexter was determined to kill Arthur from the start then it makes no sense for him to get so involved in Arthurs life since the "mysterious new guy who was been incredibly clingy" would naturally be a prime suspect when Arthur disappears.

Dexter should at least have distanced himself again before acting since the first rule of the code is not being caught.

He's being sloppy all around, killing an innocent and getting so involved with Arthur. He hopped down the rabbit hole when he didn't keep things business hoping to find help, only to find out Arthur is more f**ked up than he is. The mysterious new clingy guy isn't that much of a problem since they had nothing to really go on, Kyle Butler would have just disappeared. This season was a lot of build-up, I'll have to watch it all again back to back to really appreciate it. :heart:

Yeah, but Dexter's always been a bit sloppy. Look at how far he let things with Lila and Doakes go. He only got out of that through sheer, dumb luck because Lila turned out to be crazier than even he realized.

lol well you're underestimating Dex now. Remember the story he made for the officer? Let's just see where the season goes.

My theory for the big twist this season is that since Trinity has started his cycle again (with the "innocent boy") he kills [BLACKOUT]Christine as the second person in his cycle (girl in the bathtub) and then goes on to take Rita as the third person in his cycle (the mother who jumps to her death).[/BLACKOUT]

I am going to go into deep left field & say the big twist is going to be that Dexter catches T-Dizzle, Kills him. But Arthur shows up at the Police station the next day. Thus revealing that Arthur has a twin. That would explain the mood swings.

A little cheesy? Yes, but cheese can be so tasty at times.



He can still have those special prison visits. You know what I am saying. *nudge, nudge*.

Does anyone watch Dexter: Early Cuts. The first part part was ok but the seacond one is way better it takes place in 1993 when dex is still learning his craft. I hope they continue these webisodes I love seeing dex just starting out. We only got a few of those in flashbacks on the show.

the twist obviously isnt anything to do with arthurs daughter, the teaser said a 'shocking twist' and that isnt shocking and she isnt even a big character or anything, its either going to be a main character dying or someone learning what dex does. or both.

How cool would it be if at the end of season five Dexter was basically caught, and season six (probably the final season) has him on the run. Maybe that could happen at the end of this season, but I don't really see that happening. Oh, it'd be a great story. Deb could be the one following him, like Lundy. I feel after this season the show needs to be mixed up a bit more.

That's what I was expecting. Deb could double as the first (or second, as we know now) victim of Trinity's new kill cycle and as revenge against Kyle-Dexter. But I'd hate for Deb to die. On the other hand, Dexter could murder Trinity in the process of saving Deb and Deb could finally start to learn about his Dark Passenger, which could be cool.

Oh snapple, I totally forgot about Vince's news for Dex. How's that gonna go over, I wonder? Dexter's finally coming to terms with the fact that he's got real feelings and genuinely loves his family, only to find that his wife's on the verge of cheating on him. Talk about a tough break--or, in Dexter's case, possibly a psychotic break when he finds out.
