Dexter

Unfortunately there was a little bit more than ass too for those with HD tv's. I saw WAY more than I wanted, but I guess that makes up for all the good stuff last season ;)

How old is Harrison, anyway? 1 and some change? Kids don't remember s*** from that time.

Actually I think he's less than a year old. In Season 4 Dexter had mentioned Harrison not sleeping through the night for the past 10 months. Assuming he's been a poor sleeper since birth, that would make him 10 months old.

Then again there was that scene of Harrison's first birthday that was shown when Dex found Rita's body. But I don't know if that was a flashback or an imagining of an event that will never take place (Rita being there to witness the birthday party I mean).

And for the record, my earliest memories are from when I was two or three (whenever my parents took us to Disney Land).

Regarding the timeline, I think Seasons One & Two took place within the same year. Season One ended with Paul going to prison and Season Two started with his death (or at least his funeral).

I can't remember if Rita told Dexter she was pregnant in the end of Season Two or the beginning of Season Three. But she hadn't had the kid yet, I know that.

Then in Season Four, Dexter actually mentions having been married for two years. Thus I estimate the total time of the show to be about 3 years.

You could say the viewing experience was TAINTed. :cwink:

He'd only been married for several months at the time of season 4. I think he told Trinity he'd been married for 2 years.

So the guy in the bathroom, how does Dex justify what he did to him?

It's not the first mistake he's made.

I'm wondering if we'll see Dexter trying to find out who the guy is (it'll be in the papers) and justify his actions.

Episode 2, I need a recap! I wont get to see it for a few more days or another week..

Recap:

Dexter starts to stalk his new prey, Astir and Cody leave Dexter to live with the grandparents, FBI starts their search for Kyle Butler and they have sketches of him, Deb and Quinn finally start to talk about their relationship.

You know maybe I missed something over the past 2 seasons, and I realize Rita and her mom had a falling out in season 2, but Rita still said she could visit on occasions/holidays.

So you'd think her mom would show up if her daughter was murdered (especially considering her dislike of dexter) especially considering the kids. Or atleast to attend the funeral.

So if they mentioned anything about her in s3 or s4 can someone refresh my memory?

If not I can only assume they couldn't get the actress back or something. but you'd think they'd atleast mention her before bringing in randomly generating paul parents who were never mentioned before.

Good point, not sure whatever happened to her.

Loved this latest episode...I won't discuss many plot points until you guys give me the goer that you've all seen in it. Then we'll talk :)

I had assumed they just recasted her, I wasn't aware that was Paul's parents. Yeah, that's stupid.

The dude playing Quinn has really buffed up, lost some weight, teeth whitened and skin tanned. He must have realised he'd be playing a bigger role this season lol!

Aster got kinda annoying this episode wasn't she lol

The FBI knowing Dexter didn't kill Rita kind of takes away from the tention a bit. I can see Quinn finding out about Kyle/Dexters connection before the FBI. & for some yet unknown reason Quinn helps Dexter.

I thought he looked different! Couldn't place it though.

Wasn't the most interesting episode, but...it's Dexter ;)

that's what i think the twist will be

instead of Quinn turning Dexter in, he'll probably help him

i seriously doubt the writers would turn Quinn into Doakes 2.0

It'd almost be hard to swallow Quinn siding with Dexter since he's been on his tail so hard since day one of his arrival.
