How do we know Chase knew Dexter before Dexter knew him? He seemed like he'd never met him when he first appeared in the police station (but did recall Masuka).
Well, he followed the story of trinity, knew his name(Dont recall him mentioning it at the police station), knew his sons name, and Ritas. While dexter had never even heard of him until he broke into Boyds place.

I dont think thats it, but it sure does make sense

I thought Chase only showed interest in him after he met the guy and did a little digging.

The only thing that struck me as being odd was that he knew Harrison's name. Everything else would most likely be public knowledge.

I really hope this whole Chase/Rita theory isn't true. If it is, it defeats the whole point of season 4.

Dexter was curious about trinity despite how dangerous he obviously was, and instead of sticking to the code and heeding harry's warnings, he left Arthur alive. Dexter underestimated Arthur Mitchel and got Rita killed.

If this ends up not being the case, then why not allow dexter to willy nilly get to know dangerous psychopaths before killing them every time, because obviously there are no consequences.

Exactly.

If he followed the case closely, then he'd know of Dexter before they met, and him knowing Harrisons name is suspicious, because to my knowledge, minors names arent allowed to be released by the police, not sure on that though.

true...

This is a nitpick, but I went, "whaa?" when it showed Robocop looking through his photos on the dock. To me, the way that was shot, implied he took the photos from the dock. Which doesn't make sense, as Dexter goes way the hell out to dump bodies down in that undercurrent...thing. I dunno, maybe I'm going insane.

I had a feeling this was going to be brought up eventually. Most of the pics it shows him looking at are them loading up the boat, before they leave. But yes at the end it shows a couple shots of them dumping the bags.

After the bay harbour butcher thing dex describes that he goes way the heck out there to dump the bodies.

Im sure the only explanation we'll get is the fact that Stan had a gigantic lense on that camera.

That was my thought too, but the length of that camera lense was supposed to imply it could take pics at great distances...i guess....

Oh, yeah, I got that. But there would have been no way he'd be able to take a steady shot from that distance, with that lens, without a tripod.

That's a hell of a lense to capture THAT distance. Unless Dex really is just a lazy sod and only moved a few minutes south of his last dumping spot ;)

See, that's also what I felt the episode implied, which rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, maybe Lumen started *****ing to Dexter about being sea sick, or he didn't feel like putting up with her ****, so he said screw it and dumped the parts really damn close to the shore. :D

Another thing I thought of, Dexter dated Rita because she was as damaged as him, but they never delved into it, but maybe some of it didnt come from Paul? And, I think, not sure though, but wasnt Rita from the same state as the other victims? Wisconsin, I believe.

It wasn't until the most recent episode did this season get good imo. The previous episodes were average (But even Dexter's average is better then most of the crap on TV). This one was superb.

This was my exact reaction as well.

Wow.............As Martin Lawrence says in Bad Boys... "**** just got real!"

GREAT episode. I'm starting to think that Jordan Chase is a Jigsaw-type killer. He "tests," his victims some how. If they pass, they join his group or turn their life around (remember, Boyd said he was "doing those *****es a favor."). If they don't, they die. That's why the blood vial was of a lowlife loser. Jordan is going to test her next.

By the way, great episode. I don't know what it is about Dexter, but the week of Thanksgiving always seems to be the best of the season. :funny:

what a mind f**k of an episode! LOVED it :woot:

things just keep getting more and more interesting. i have a feeling that Quinn will play a large part in how things will turn in these last 3 episodes, especially in wanting to redeem himself with Deb.

it's nice that Dexter worked out things with Astor. and it was really badass when he was beating up that abusive a-hole

After a slow start, this season is quickly gaining in ranks. I'm lovin' it!
