Dexter

Wow, brilliant episode. One of the more disturbing episodes out of the series also.

I really like that Dexter and Lumen are together. She is so much more likable than Rita, and she hasn't even been in a full season yet. The writers did a great job in building up her character and her relationship with Dexter.

Next week is f***ing far away.

BTW Chase is a worthy enemy to follow up on Mitchell. Great character.

I think Chase still has one more ace up his sleeve, Dex and Lumen are getting lazy they heard the girls story but never thought to question how Chase got a vial of her blood.

Oh, this is gonna be some real hardcore cat-and-mousing-ing for the last few episodes, man!

Weller's character is my biggest concern, though. That's gonna be a serious loose end to tie up. I figure an altercation develops between him and Quinn, and Quinn's forced to shoot him down before he reveals anything. Who knows.

i also think Debra and Quinn will discover that Lumen, and maybe Dexter is/are taking down those guys, and cover her/them. First Because Debra thinks they deserve this, and then because Quinn would do anything to win her trust back. And I wouldn't be surprised if Quinn killed Robocop to protect Debra after he tell him what he discovered (which would be something he already knows) and try to blackmail him/them...

and i think that now that Dexter is realizing he is human, and has emotions like any human being (which is, according to me, the purpose of the whole show, especially this season), it would be logical that the next season would be about Dexter and his "family" (Debra, Quinn and I hope Lumen) trying to find a "cure" for him...
that's how i think they could end the show, with Dexter not needing to kill anymore, and we would see him on his boat, dropping his tools and his trophies in the ocean, dumping once and for all his dark passenger

I'm really worried Dexter is going to go after Quinn.
In the preview scenes/promo for next week Dexter seems to think it is Quinn spying on him.

Awesome ep. I didn't think Lumen was going to go through with it, but alas....

last scene; had even me teary eyed. Has there ever been a more fitting couple; a better match made in heaven than Dex and Lumen, on tv?!

That being said, it can't end well. :csad:

I'm more worried if [blackout]Lumen takes the fall for DExter :([/blackout]

I never liked Julia Stiles that much, but wow, great chemistry she has with Michael, I have the say!

Fantastic episode and the finale gets more & more interesting! Can't wait!

Quinn is gonna kill Liddy to protect deb and dex...Quinn will then go to dex for help.

Another great episode. I like Lumen more and more, and Jordan surprisingly is good follow up villain after Arthur.

So does Chase still see that girl all the time or only now again once Dexter came fishing around?

And, what kind of relationship do they have?

Chase is weird, he doesn't like to be touched...

Yeah I really don't want Lumen to take the fall for Dex or get killed.

I hope they get Stiles to come back for next season.

I didn't think I would like her as much as I have.

Stiles has won me over recently too. She's proven herself to be a competent little actress. And probably Dexter's true(and I hate using this word) soulmate as well. Still don't see her surviving though...

Chase is also proving a worthy follow up to Lithgow too. He is certainly far more clever than Mitchell was at least, using others against him in an attempt to get him and Lumen caught as opposed to Mitchell's more caveman approach of "kill everyone close to you in sight". I love having a villain who knows Dexter is on his tail. His whole empire is crumbling around him and he still hasn't given in

And Liddy? Well, I just love Weller. He hams it up spectacularly.

The next two episodes should be immense.

Although I'm glad Dexter has found someone he can be in love with, and not just love, I feel the Dexter/Lumen relationship was too obvious.

That would be awesome!!

I called it on Chase being the fat boy in the pic!

Anyway, i still think the nanny might play into this somehow. It was just too casual the way she left with Harrison; and btw, did she call him when they arrived in Tampa as she said she would?

Also, what was up with Chase? he looked somewhat terrified of his first victim (can't think of her name right now); for a second there, i thought that she was the one pulling his strings.....

Any chance that Chase's first victim is actually a guy who pretends to be a girl.

Man the way they ended this episode, so touching yet...it seems to be foreshadowing tragedy....or is it? All signs seem to be pointing to Lumen either biting the bullet or taking the fall for Dexter but would that be too much overkill? After Rita doesnt Dexter deserve a break? If they got rid of Lumen too, Dexter's just gonna think that he's no good to anyone and he'll be even more a wreck than he was after Rita died.

I feel like the whole theme of the show revolves around Dexter re-discovering himself and regaining his humanity. Lumen is helping him do that, so if they take that away...what happens to Dexter? Its for that reason that i dont think Lumen will go away but who knows.....

Season 6 hasnt been confirmed, for all we know, Dex could take the fall for Lumen.

I still think she is simply a character of convenience after they nearly painted themselves into a corner having Harrison with no mum.

Exactly what I've been saying. The nanny is less a character and more a plot device. People should stop with the outlandish theories surrounding her. There are two episodes left. If there was anything more, it would've been established by now as the next two episodes will be all about resolving plot points, not opening new ones.

Liddy has to die by seasons end. He's a MASSIVE liability. Deb's already putting two and two together about the vigilante killer; it being a women, and it being one of the escaped victims, so all fingers point to Lumen 'falling' one way or another. My question is, how will Dex explain his connection to Deb and the police, if Lumen takes the fall? He's talked his way out of some real whoppers throughout the seasons, but i can't see him getting off that easy here...

You know, i just realize why this ep was ssssooooo good.............there was only like 2 minutes of Laguertta and Batista!:awesome:

I still think the show is making us think Lumen will take the fall, but it will end up being blood vial chick that takes the fall instead.
