I don't know about "most people", but I sure did. Something about him just seemed creepy, and I said to myself "I betcha he's The Ice Truck Killer". If I could place a wager with myself, I woulda won.

Very true. But then again, if one of Rita's kids were to be murdered and Rita found out about Dexter's extracurricular activities when he hunts down and kills the pedophile SOB who did it, she might not want him to stop. It all depends on how it's written.

Thundarr, not much different with season 1 dvd, extras suck for both season , but then again, i dont know how many scenes would really be deleted from an hour long tv(roughly 55 minutes an episode) so basically its an 11 hour movie.

how do they do that with TV shows? i wouldnt imagine they have too much to cut since theres so many

You wouldn't by any chance know who I should write to about improving the special features for the Season 3 DVD? I'd love to send them a letter.

1) Sneak peak at Dexter Season 4 (screw Brotherhood and DVD-Rom).

2) Behind The Scenes making of featurette.

3) Episode long commentary on at least one episode per disk.

4) Interviews with cast & crew.

5) Blooper reel, gag reel, deleted scenes, and alternate endings.

6) DVD-ROM Photo Gallery, story boards & scripts.

THAT'S the way a DVD Special Features should look!

I don't want to see one of her kids die. But this season does have kind of a tragic vibe to it for one of the characters.

maybe one of the kids will turn out like Dexter and get that addiction that he has. Then Dexter can train one of them secretly. But I guess they could go that route with the new baby.

they could do some interesting stuff with both of those... but the kids were kidnapped last season by lila for some reason lol...anyways if astor and cody got kidnapped by the skinner (who we find out is after dex) and he kills one of them. rita finds out about dex's hobby but feels it started when the skinner killed one of the kids so she accepts and supports it. the kid who didnt die is scarred for like (probably cody) and needs a code.

i dont know how 'dexter' that would be though.

so was that Moon Knight (sans hood) that he was playing with in the last ep? Interesting since I used to think Hall should play Moon Knight (until I was convinced he should play Daredevil).. Coincidently, I started thinking that this actor whos name I can never remember but had seen in a few horror flicks should play Moon Knight, and he just happens to be the new cop bothering Deb this season

wrapped up the middle brother's involvement in the Oscar's death story line
established that Deb was right about Oscar owing Freebo money
Let Masuka and Batista get some time for their own development,
introduced us more to Quinn's character


I would like to add that I hope the IA chick gets offed in a grissly matter she's just annoying.

I think that Ramon will kill Miguel (or vice versa) and Dexter will go after Ramon (or less likely Miguel)

The episode was pretty good. I liked the Dexter and Rita storyline. I knew they would get engaged. I'm not sure if it will last though. Dexter doing that silly voice was hilarious. The Ramon storyline got somewhat boring. The Miguel and Dexter relationship is getting interesting. I wonder where they will take it for the rest of the season. Next week's episode looks good.

I think Miquel is manipulating Dexter, because he knows there is something up with him. Dexter needs to be very careful. There is also something up with Laquarta as well.

So far its become the norm that if you get an inkiling into Dexter other side you are going to bite it before the season ends. I think things will escalate to a point where Dexter is going to have to kill him, remember Dexter has his shirt with Freboo blood on it. So maybe kill him and frame him in some way. Although that wont be original since he did the same thing with Doakes.

Still waiting for Season 3 to be aired here in the U.K. (although I have seen the 1st episode and thouroughly enjoyed it).

Until then, FX has more or less replaced Dex with 'Burn Notice'; which I have to admit - I'm really starting to get into. The funny thing is, with it being set in Miami, we're 3 episodes in and already, 2 Dexter actors have turned up; both Batista and Paul (Rita's ex) respectively.

I can't help wondering if anyone else is going to make an appearance.

Well, in reading Dearly Devoted Dexter, they do seem to entertain the idea of Cody being like Dexter, but I haven't finished reading that book to know if they took the idea any further.
