Great first ep. I have to re-watch it but where does he keep his blood samples again now that he lives with Rita..?

Lithrow is an awesome serial killer, and Laguerta seems to change men every season - i've loved Lauren Velez ever since she was on 'OZ'.

He kept his old place, still nice and snug in the air conditioner.

yea it looks like trinity regrets it but feels like he needs to do it, theres some reason he kills the specific people...where as dexter doesnt regret...hes relieved by it...and needs to do it...like someone posted earlier the contrast between trinity and dex is great stuff

I really think he was chastising himself. Thats what it seemed like to me. Reminding me more and more of BTK. Or a John List type of character. Even though his crimes are nothing like Lists still kinda reminds me of him

But it seems to me that Trinity is going to become almost a mentor-type figure to Dexter. It should make an interesting contrast between him and Harry.

i hope not, that would make 4 seasons in a row where dex gets close to someone and kills them. We need that like we need another "rita's blind wrong accusations to advance the plot" this season

But there is no guarantee that he will kill Trinity. As pointed out, Trinity seems to loathe what he has to do, maybe the mentee will become the mentor and Dexter can teach Trinity to focus it?

What if dexter lets Trinity go to prison. I know thats unlikely to happen but it would be a surprise and it would be different then just killing the big bad of the season.

Amazing start to the season. Can't wait to see where it goes. But I must confess, this is torture. I watched the first, second, and third season in two days each. Now I have to wait week to week for season 4

I am in your boat. I watched all 3 seasons 2 months ago, back to back to back. It's going to be quite the adjustment.

I'm in this boat for Lost too. I just finished watching Seasons 1-4 in like 2 weeks, will watch 5 as soon as it's released, and then 6 will be torture.

i just saw the preview for the season after wacthing a rerun of living the dream and MY GOD. This season looks like it's gonna be the best season of Dexter.

finally watched it online tonight, it was amazing kinda thought the sleepy Dexter idea is kinda weak, but it works and makes sense, Rita bothers me though it's like wtf your husband has a serious ass job and you're calling him to help the kid go to sleep that stupid ***** lol, everything else was great. Man i just love how you never know what's coming, that's what also makes this show soo damn good

The only negative right now is, where the hell does Quinn come off! I really hope he dies this season. He annoyed me last season, & he has already pissed me off mouthing to Dexter.

Honestly...I see the final scene in the finale echoing the first scene in the pilot. Dexter taking out a child predator. We'll see what ultimately happens.

This is possible, especially if you consider the fact that it would probably result from something happening to Dexter's kid. Could be rather dramatic, actually.

what's the point of Quinn now? I thought he was introduced last season to be the love interest of Deb but that was Anton. Quinn doesn't really interact with Dexter much and he seems pretty boring. They better give him a good storyline linked to Dexter this season.

I kind of agree with the Rita comment.

I know right! The only thing is Doakes had background credibility. Quinn has nothing. Dexter has gone many, many, many years without a screw up. Quinn is acting like this is a regular occurrence.

I really, really, really, hate to say it but I really think the writers hit a brick wall in season 2. I don't think they know where to go. I am going to enjoy seeing Lithgow do his thing, but I could give a sh** about who Leguerta is f**king. I thought Angel & Gianna had great chemistry. What the hell happened there!

I don't really understand what good can come from Deb finding out the informant that Harry was tapping. Other than her realizing that she was the Ice Truck Killers mom. Pointless in my opinion.

& since Lundy is retired I am going to go ahead & assume that Lundy will be finding out Dexters secret, or will have suspicions about it. But wont care. Also can't wait for the Lundy/Deb/Anton triangle.

Dexter keeping his apartment was/is f-ing ******ed! He isn't oprah rich for f**k sakes! The writers had a year to figure out what he would do with the blood slides, & that was the best they could come up with! really!!!

So far not starting out all that great.
