well if i had to guess, i'd say trinity goes after lundy when the reporter writes a story about the case

Yea after I thought about it for a second Lundy was the only one I could think of to. I just absolutely cannot wait until Trinity and Dexters inevitable meeting

Another great episode. I'm loving this season more than 2 or 3.

The Lundy/Dexter scene when they were talking about being a hunter and stuff at the crime scene was fantastic.

Is it just me, or is there more to the reporter than meets the eye? For the sake of just throwing it out there, could she possibly be the other killer that's going around murdering people?

I have to say that I´m not liking the suburb storyline of this season, I just thought that Dexter was behaving incredibly stupidly when going after the vandal.

The more that they have him trying to act like a normal person the less I like him. Hopefully he will snap big time at some point this season which sends him back into killer mode.

That new Trinity murder was very brutal. To make someone kill himself is monstrous.

Thus far the season is great. I rank it 3-th after the second and first, but we have 9 episodes to come...

I know this probably gets brought up all the time, but one must wonder if and when Dexter being a killer will revealed to all the other characters.

I think that it will, probably as a season finale likely heading in to the last season or two, whenever that is. BUT, I think somehow Dexter will get off without going to jail, or he will get out of jail after a few years, in which case the series would jump ahead to that point. And then I think you will see Dexter try to work his way back in to the lifes of Rita, the kids, Debra, etc etc, and I think thats when he will be at his realist with all those characters.

I can already picture scenes of Dexter watching Rita and little kid Harrison from afar.

I still think Debra will find out first and just try to deal with it. She's very protective of Dex, so I doubt she could ever rat him out. Plus, if she keeps learning about Harry's CIs and finds out where Dex comes from, she'll probably have a fair bit of sympathy toward him.

I think Debra's also the kind of person who can see that Dexter actually does some good by killing off criminals. I don't think she will rat him out either because it's her brother and again, what he does is for the greater good, but I think that she would try and distance herself from him, atleast for awhile.

Deb might not rat out her brother per se but I do expect her to freak out royally for at least the majority of a season as she tries to come to terms with this.


She may act butch and curse like a sailor but that's alot to take in from someone you're supposed to be close to.

Oh yeah, she'd have a long adjustment period. But ultimately I think she'd learn to live with it and accept Dex again.

Trinity is crazy ****er, but i like it Brandon Routh's wife is one hot ass chick. Unlike most people on here, i like Quinn, i laughed my ass off when he said "who the **** would name their kid Dexter"? he was all serious lol. Just when you think that ******** between Lundy, Deb, Anton is over from the last episode, they had to ****ing revive that **** again im glad Ashtray or whatever the **** her name is chilled out at the end. It pisses me off how a smart ass dude like Dexter, got with the dumbest most annoying blonde of all time

It's pretty well explained why Dexter was ever with Rita to begin with

He sees Rita as a way to make himself appear normal, he refers to Rita as his light at the end of the tunnel,i know but still, im sure they're a lot more normal women out there he could have gotten with, even his own dad on the show aint cool with him having a family and all that

Only normal to those married to a woman that annoying. She reminds me alot of Chelsea on Two & A Half Men. Encroaching.
The writers shouldn't have allowed Dex to get married but I understand that it only adds to the conflict as the series progresses. Hence, Dex having to lie to cover up his sadistic hobby...the real reason why alot of us tune into this show. Not nagging Rita.

That's part of it. But also, when he started dating Rita, she was just coming off an abusive relationship, so she didn't care about sex, or doing the "normal" relationship things. It was Dexter's way of appearing normal, without having to go through a lot of the elements normal relationships consist of. That's not an easy find in looking for a woman.

I actually think amongst Rita, Debra and Angel, all of them would ultimately look the other way. Mostly when they discover who Dexter targets, the code, etc. Granted it would take some "adjusting" to.

Out of the three of them, I think only Deb would be "OK" with it, if she knew about his past, that he only kills criminals and that he actually

Angel might connect the dots and realize Dex was the BHB and Doakes took the fall, and that would DEFINITELY not sit well with him.

As for Rita... She gets pissy for a lot less than murder. Certainly she wouldn't accept it.

Yeah, Rita'd leave him in a heartbeat if she found out, I think. Angel would struggle with it for a while even if he knew all the facts, and I think he'd ultimately turn Dex in. He might understand Dexter's motivations and code, but I don't think he could ever really convince himself to look the other way as Dex murders countless people, criminals or not.
