great episode, and although I knew that Dexter uses Patrick Bateman as an alias for getting his tranquilizers (wikipedia) it was great to finally see it. I see so much parallelisms between the two. They're both serial killers who feel totally disconnected from human emotions and have to fake being happy or feel other normal feelings. I love it

yea, the first 2 books are great...book 1 is alot like season 1, but at the same time very different. season 2 and book 2 are completely different...

i wouldnt even bother buying book 3...it wasnt any good.

yea book 3 completely ignores book 1 in discussing dexters 'origin' (how he became how he is)

some BS about Moloch and Molochs demons possessing peoples bodies as a 'dark passenger'. the dark passenger is what dexter calls his other side in the books, its pretty important.
