can't wait for the premiere. I don't have Showtime so I'm going to have to find "other" ways to see it.

The first episode, at least, may be uploaded to Showtime's website. They did that for Weeds, I guess so people could sample the new season and hopefully subscribe to watch more.

Yeah, looking forward to it. Season 3 looks awesome.

The U.K. has only just started airing season 2 on FX but a few months back I managed to, um, aquire the entire run on dvd from a friend.

It gives me great pleasure teasing the folk in my work about the amazing twists and turns that they will discover. Although I'm watching the season again because it was so good (even better than the 1st, I felt) t:

That promo has put aside my earlier reservations. This is looking to be awesome. Hopefully, it'll bring back some of the season 1 vibe, which I thought was better than the still good but not the same season 2.

oh no season one and two are equal in my book. also you should read the dexter books because they are awesome. my favorite is dearly devoted dexter. but anyway season 1 was good because the final episode and final twist or whatever, and season 2 was awesome because we see dexter barely escape with some great luck. plus we get the climax of dexter and doakes in season 2.

I've just started recently with this show as Season 2 is only just being advertised here (UK) so I thought i'd check out the first season and i'm about to watch episode 11. I love this show...Its so easy to watch and Dexter is the coolest serial killer you could ever want to get away with murder...he's brilliant...

Will look forward to season 2 when i finish this.

And now, a question a propos of nothing: Does anyone else get hungry watching Dexter's opening credits? I swear, every time I see the intro, I want some fried eggs with ketchup.

Just finished the first Season...

Brilliant...kinda predictable but a nice twist none the less...

I get hungry all the time with Dexter cos after every crime scene he goes for food and it makes me want it ha ha

The way that it was handled...just wasnt a fan but it ended well so im happy...

I just finished the first season on DVD too. Great show.

Some predictable stuff, like the minute I saw [blackout]Rudy start flirting with Deb[/blackout] I said "Ice Truck Killer!" But still a great finale.

Season 2 officially comes out on DVD in a week, so I'm just waiting until then to Netflix it.

But there was one moment that I thought was really anti-climatic. I really hated it when [BLACKOUT]Doakes got killed off by that british psycho *****[/BLACKOUT]. I was looking foward to see how Dexter would finally solve the situation. But it got taken care of with one freaking boom.

Doakes had survived and spent the whole of Season 3 on the run from the feds but trying his hardest to prove his innocence and get the blame repointed on Dexter...their on screen feud was brilliant...

yea doakes being gone really sucks. i kinda wish they woulda saved the doakes/dexter/BHB storyline until a later season so doakes would be around more. but either way, it was awesome.... doakes shouldnt of died at the very beginning of the season finale, shoulda died halfway through or near the end.
