I think that there's more to Quinn than the writers are letting on at the moment. I suspected as much last season but after he was caught by Dex, pilfering some of the evidence at that crime scene in the last ep, I might be right.

If he's corrupt, he'll be a little more interesting. But we still don't know why he took the money, and he seems to honestly be trying to limit his new girlfriend's access to police information so she doesn't jeopardize investigations. I'm curious about him.

I thought Quinn was added to the roster to bang Debra, to be honest.

I think he's just supposed to be the aggressive, hair tigger temper Doakes was.

Yeah, he's definitely meant to take over Doakes' old alpha male position. So it's interesting in that respect to see Dexter and Quinn's relationship develop, given that Doakes already f***ing hated Dexter at the beginning of the show.

PS 2: Is it just me or the thing with Angel and Laguerta is just odd?

Cool, interesting information. I like Rita alot, though.

And the only reason Angel and Laguerta seems odd...is because Laguerta is out of his league. She seems to have even lost weight since last season, making her hotter...and all the more strange that she's with Angel.

Btw, wasn't she with Doakes? And she wanted to bang Dex too in season 1...

Quinn's an idiot. I like that he's so worried about Dex when Dex has stuff so far beyond him going on in his f***ed up life, though.

Yeah, seemed like only an idiot would try and pocket cash in plain sight with cops in every room, and outside the apartment with the door facing him.

I couldn't believe he even tried it under those circumstances. But, it was interesting to see his reaction when he opened the safe. Like, "****...now I GOT to steal some".

I'm curious to see where they take the Quinn character...is he now part of the team as a main player or is he a role designed specifically for an angle?

I just don't want to see another Doakes storyline...man, I wish he was still around.

I don't think they'll rehash the Doakes storyline. It would be unlike them to do so.

I think he's just supposed to be kinda like Doakes. But, the problem is Doakes was ****ing awesome. And funny as ****.

Quinn is kinda like a statue most times. I think he probably plays off of Matsuka better than anyone else in the cast, just because of stoic he can be.

I don't think Laguerta's out of Angel's league. Angel's a fairly good-looking guy, and we know from past experience that he can be very sweet and caring. At their age, things aren't always all about looks.

Plus, as you noted, Laguerta seems to be attracted to men primarily at work anyway. Angel's pretty much the only guy left who's not out of her league (Quinn), married (Dex), or repulsive (Masuka).

Dexter shows minimal nudity. I think the most was in season 2 with lila (it seemed she was always naked). Other shows on Showtime take advantage of being able to show nudity. lol
