Loved Deb throwing Rita's passive aggressive "kind words" back in her face.

Did anyone else LOL when Dexter was standing in front of the Edward Cullen Twilight poster? I thought that was hilarious and so random.

I've heard supposedly the big finale ending that Julie Benz said will surprise everyone is that Rita is killed in a car crash. I don't know how I feel about that, if that's what the finale really holds.

Really? That is pretty lametastic.

LOL! Yeah that was pretty random!

Nice work Ghost Virus on your prediction with Trinity.

Golgo - I agree that Jennifer did an awesome job with the grief she displayed as Deb this past episode. She played it so real and unhollywood with the almost child like sobbing. Made me feel her sadness :(

It's so good to see they have given Lithgow more to chew on with his character, I'm looking forward to next episode...how many are left to go guys?

I gotta say, when Dex was following Trinity there at the end I yelled at the tv "Hes going home!!" Its allready been stated that Trinity was based off of BTK and weve seen him in the church n all that so I saw it coming as soon as Dex was all like "Where is he going" I just knew it was coming. They seriously shouldve got Lithgow to grow out a little goatee and mustache for the full BTK effect

last nights episode was awesome it's getting better and better. i also enjoyed Debs performance, i also like how they're making trinity be like BTK (family, church, he went on about 3 decades, etc) next sunday will be bad ass too

but did last nights episode confirm that Trinity was the one that shot Lundy and Deb?

:wow: + :awesome:

what a FANTASTIC episode! I loved everything about it. Dexter wanting revenge, Deb's emotional breakdown, even Rita and Dexter drama! Also, that reporter has a great body. Anyway, Lithgow's performance was awesome as always. It will be interesting how they play out the rest of the season since Dexter knows who he is so early. One of the last scenes with Dexter racing to find Trinity killer and his victim had my heart racing.

p.s no conformation that Trinity was the shooter, and honestly I find it hard to believe he did.

I'm going to stand by my totally out there prediction and say it was the female reporter.

I am 95% sure Anton is the shooter. Just wait I tells ya.:woot:

As far as the episode goes, fantastic all around. Lithgow is creepy as hell and I liked Dexter kind of opening up to Deb in a sense when he said he was the broken one. Did anyone else notice that Anton walked in with a bag, but didn't leave with it at the hospital? Probably just an editing issue. Can not wait till next week.

Lundy was double tapped, Dexter knows he made Trinity.

I would subscribe to the Trinity killing Lundy theory if not for two things. Why would Trinity not take the tape and tape recorder from Lundy's pocket? He took everything else, but that? Secondly, he is meticulous and I don't think he would leave a witness. He would have made sure Deb was dead, especially since she spent hours with Lundy prior to being shot. Lundy could have easily described Trinity to her for all Trinity knew. It just doesn't add up. Anton has a criminal past, although we know little about it, it's not like he is a saint. Deb was shot in a place that would not kill her instantly and away from major organs, plus she was left alive. Lundy was shot twice, ensuring he was dead and leaving Deb to run back to Anton's forgiving arms. Although it backfired on him. LOL.

It's all speculation and theories at this point. Can't wait to see how the season progresses.

The fact that they are keeping the shooter a mystery. Does add to the Anton theory.

Two things I don’t understand.

  • I thought Trinity was killing in every state? So what happens with he’s family? They travel with him? Or he is going ‘’on business’’?
  • 2. Trinity is around 60 yo, right. So why is he’s family so young? He’s kids looked like 17-18 yo, so he must had them around 40?

I think that would be awesome if she was in the end. I think the Anton angle might be another misdirection from the writers and I'd be a little disappointed if it turned out to be Anton-particularly after what happened to him last season and Deb's ongoing dumb luck of the men she dates.

1. I assume from the little they showed last episode he is away on business...

2. He got lucky lol

The ending was great. I loved Dexter's realization: "Trinity is... like me." :hehe:

And I hope anyone who still believes Dexter doesn't have real feelings was paying attention to this episode. Dexter was genuinely terrified at the beginning of the episode; it was written all over his face. And then he was obsessive about getting revenge for Deb. You don't generally get to that point unless you genuinely love someone.
