Oh god no. Please, no.

I dunno how you guys feel, but I find Quinn to be an unlikeable *****e.

Doakes was mean to Dexter, but I still liked the guy. He had a good side to him.

I can't find any decent quality in Quinn, thus far.

I think Quinn may get closer to Deb and thus get closer to Dexter. He seems like Doakes 2.0 in the way that he hates Dexter now (for no apparent reason really.)

Didn't Dexter call him a dirty cop and told Quinn he saw him taking bribe money? (or something like that)

Seems like a guy like Quinn would resent having something held over him like that.

Hey do you guys think it's him?

Dodge Charger - Dexter Voice Over ?

That's who I thought it was when I first saw the commercial.

He's not hanging it over his head though. He talked to Quinn about it. Dexter has much bigger concerns than petty theft by a cop. Though Quinn doesn't know that, so he may perceive that Dexter has got something on him. Besides that, I can't really remember how the resentment started. It seems like it came out of thin air. But he is suspicious of Dexter's irregular work hours.

Quinn took money from a crime scene. Dex saw and Quinn saw Dex see, so he tried to buddy up to Dex so Dex wouldnt say anything. Eventually, Dex was sick of it and basically told him to go away and called Quinn a dirty cop. Quinn believes what he did is not the same as being a dirty cop, just a small indiscretion. Quinn was then probably trying to get something on Dex so that they were even, but Dex was to sly and Quinn got frustrated with that.

The first I saw of the resentment was the episode where Dexter's tiredness and sloppy work let Benny Gomez walk. Of course Dexter killed him later but Quinn doesn't know that.

Have you ever saw The Shield. The main character got away with everything he ever did.

I don't know if I'd say he "got away with it". Creator Shawn Ryan concocted quite the diabolical fate for Vic Mackey.

A fitting end to a fantastic character. Aww any talk of the Shield and I get a little sad :(

I think it's more likely for Deb and Quinn to get together, they both share similiaries, like falling for a murderer (Trinity's daughter and the Ice Truck Killer)

I see that too.

I'd also like i bit more depth into Masuka's character and less about Laguerta and Batista next season....

Man I have a friend I got into Dexter and he absolutely hated the finale. Says hes done with the show he got so mad about them killing Rita. Im like "Dude did you stop watching Lost when Charlie died?" Freakin stupid to stop watching a show youve invested so many hours in when the writers take a chance and kill off a major character.

i just read today that michael c hall and jennifer carpenter are married

That exact statement or some variation of it has been stated so many damn times in this thread it isn't even funny lmao

I found that out a long time ago. Kinda weirds me out, but whatever.

Also I just realized that my sn unfortunately affiliates me with the Quinn character. BOOO! (just for the record, it's in reference to Harley Quinn, the love of my life)

Okay, so here's a few things for us to think about/discuss regarding some questions that were left unanswered. We can come up with our own theories:

  • How will Dexter explain his connection to Trinity if Trinity's family reveals that their friend "Kyle Butler" was around on the day of the house raid? Will they be able to positively ID Dexter as Kyle?
  • Will anyone at the station remember or recognize (or see on security video) Arthur from his visit to the police station--where he had a confrontation with Dexter?
  • Will anyone suspect that it was more than a coincidence that the Trinity Killer's latest victim is also the wife of Dexter Morgan?
  • Deb isn't one to let things go--so how deep will she dig, and will she eventually put together the real connection between Dexter and the Ice Truck Killer?

Assuming Trinity's family is cleared of any wrongdoing and all the blame falls on Arthur, why would they feel the need to say anything about Kyle Butler? As far as they're concerned, Kyle told them he could help, the house gets raided, and Arthur mysteriously vanishes after the police ID him as the Trinity Killer. If I were in the family's position, I'd consider "Kyle" a really resourceful guy who managed to get rid of Arthur somehow and keep his name out of it.

Your second and third points probably help explain each other. No one knew why Arthur chose his previous victims, so the confrontation in the police station could easily be viewed as Arthur simply scoping out a new target, confirmed by his signature bathtub murder of Rita shortly after.

I certainly hope Deb figures it out eventually. She's the likeliest to keep quiet about Dexter, but it'd be a long and fretful journey to that point, which makes for good television.
