Also, I don't think Debra will find out about Dexter, as some are predicting. I honestly believed that was how this season would end, for much of this season's run. But you know what convinced me otherwise? That they suggested it would happen in the trailer for next week. If it was REALLY going to happen, it would be totally out of the blue and not given away on the previews, like with Rita's death last season.

i still think deb finding out is a strong possibility. its been hinted at all season that she is accepting of someone taking these people out... But the manner in which she finds out is what would matter...

Her thinking shed accept, and visually seeing what Dex and Lumen do, could really rip her in half on what side she is really on.

A nice ending could be if Dexter is about to kill Jordan Chase, when Deb busts in, and makes Dexter stop. Then she puts a bullet in Chase's head herself.

The conversation she had with Dex about Quinn this week convinced me it wouldn't happen. Trust is a major issue for Deb, so if Quinn lying about investigating Dexter for a couple weeks drove her that batty, imagine what'd happen if she found out both Dex and Harry were lying to her for her entire life.

There's the possibility she could find out about Dexter, but only so far as him being the vigilante helping Lumen kill the Happy Clappy Rape Club.

And also, I think it cheapens the power of the reveal, which will surely be the biggest turning point of the series when it eventually happens. Because if she finds out about SOME of the murders, inevitably she'll find out about the rest in puttering, delayed fashion. Finding out about EVERYTHING in one powerhouse scene would have a much more powerful effect, I feel. All or nothing.

yeah the writers backed themselves into a corner with dexter so ready to dispatch quinn, season 2 dex was going to go to jail rather than kill a guy who knew who he was.

Yeah, & that was the more emotionless distant Dexter. But hey f**k it as long as Masuka makes slow-mo nipple motions. It all good. Let the sh**ty writing continue next week folks!

I am so sorry, but this show pisses me off now. I bet dollars to quidd that the season ends with Deb holding a gun to Dexters back. & her not knowing who it is. Fade to black.

Then next season some how. Dexter escapes with out being found out. Probably knocking her out or something. & maybe next season revolves around Deb trying to find the person that knocked her out.

jordan doesn't know that.

Also with what you said above that, Dexter has changed considerably. With Doakes, he knew doakes was a good person, and the code went against killing him.

But still rule number one is dont get caight, and dexter has killed a few innocent people now. not to mention its not just him he has to worry about. he cares greatly for Lumen, and doesn't want her to get caught.

he hates Quinn, and knows Quinn is dirty, and definitely no doakes. Not to mention Dexter isn't thinking rationally, he's got too much lumen in there.

I have loved Quinn this season so I'm really hoping he doesn't die and I'm happy to see that Batista is finally good instead of annoying these past few episodes. When Dexter made that comment about Bonnie and Clyde dying I laughed so hard. I can't wait til the finale.

i doubt Quinn dies. he will most likely take the fall for Robocop's death. there's sufficient enough evidence to make him the main suspect - the equipment, Robocop's cell phone call log, and the blood on Quinn's shoe

To be fair I'm pretty sure Dex has actually killed more people this season than the last one, maybe season 3 as well.

As long as foo's keep ending up on Dex's table I don't mind some of the interpersonal stuff.
