I wouldn't mind if Lumen's fate is left unknown after the finale, like they did at the end of this past ep.....

How about this for an ending. They get Jordan on the table. Of Course Lumen is going to be the one to kill him. So Dexter stand back in the corner to watch. Deb bursts in & catched Lumen but is at a blind spot & can't see Dexter. Dexter immeditely hides in the shadows.

Debra tells Lumen to put the knife down. Now how the rest of this plays out I don't know. But Debra ends up killing Lumen. Dexter of course sneaks out the back. Now next season Dexter has to deal with the anger he feels towards Debra for killing Lumen. Only Debra doesn't know that Dexter was even there.

Or Debra just ends up Arresting Lumen & not seeing Dexter. Which still leads to kind of the same response from Dexter next season. Plus Debra would still be looking for the dude next season. Which would result in her finding out about Dexter next year.

Which leads to end season ending at Harrisons Birthday party where Deb decides to show up. So Dexter is staring down Debra when she isn't looking & you are left wondering how that relationship will hold up come next season.

than wouldn't Deb connect Lumen to Dexter and figure out that Dexter is helping her in the killings............... WHICH IS WHAT I THINK HOW THE SEASON WILL END BY THE WAY

It would be great is deb discovered dexter this season, but Im always expecting they'll find another way for her to not find out at the last second.

I have a guess that if somehow Quinn doesn't get arrested for Liddy's murder he's going to track down dexter and be the one to find out. and then deb will come in at the wrong time and possible catch quinn at the wrong moment.

I'd rather her catch dexter though.

My guess is, the police suspect Quinn for Liddy's murder, he is suspended, pending investigation. He begins investigating Dexter who he ties to Liddy's murder. His investigation leads him to the scene of the crime after or as Dexter and Lumen kill Chase. He gets the murder weapon (the knife), Deb kicks in the door, sees Quinn standing over Chase's dead body, arrests Quinn as Dexter and Lumen escape.

Matt did you see the scene in next weeks trailer where Dexter looks at Quinn at the Liddy crime scene & says something like he must of bit off more than he can chew. He pretty much admits to Quinn right there that he killed Liddy. It'll be interesting to see the rest of that scene.

I don't think Debra will ever find out who Dexter is and what he really does! It's just a thing that people were speculating for ages ... However I do admit that her reaction will be damn interesting lol!

That all feels way too much like Doakes and the Bay Harbor Butcher deja vu to me. A decent but obnoxious cop who hates Dex ironically gets taken down for Dex's crimes due to a comedy of errors.

Well this season has basically just been seasons 2 and 3 combined into one season.

Yeah, it feels like they're treading similar ground a lot. I like Lumen and how she's making Dexter realize that maybe he doesn't deserve to think of himself as a monster, though. That continues the slow chipping away of the identity that Harry built for him, which has been a central theme throughout the whole show's run.

Deb will definitely discover Dexter's secret by season's end. They're totally setting it up. the way Deb is supporting and admiring the team of vigilantes is setting up for her being okay with Dexter's extra curricular activities.

Sunday's episode was a bit slow at the beginning but really ramped up when Robocop kidnapped Dexter. Johnny Lee Miller has been a great villain this season. Always a good actor. I miss Eli Stone.

He's managed to do a great deal with much fewer scenes/focus on his character than Trinity, Lila or Miguel had, so kudos to him.

I'm pissed that they spoiled the finale with the preview at the end of episode 11. When they made it look like Debra will catch Dexter, they made sure that it won't happen. DAMN!

Yeah, I'd guess that it'll be Quinn who gets arrested by Deb. That said, it would be interesting if Debroah arrested Chase. Chase knows who Dexter is, what he and Lumen have done (at least to some extent). It would be an interesting twist if the police got to him first.
