Did Mary Jane and Peter already consumate their relationshiip?

It´s never explicitly pointed out, but they were dating for a while, clearly in love with each other, and since neither of them seem to be rigid catholics or something, it´s safe to assume they had sex.

Yea, they DID have good chemistry in the first one. I don't know what the heck happened in the sequels.

Maybe its because they never really had any chemistry. It just seemed like they did cause "their relationship" was well written. That's whats disappointing about the sequels. Their relationship was screwed up by cheesy writing. In the first one there was A LOT of great scenes between the two. I always liked when Peter talked MJ into letting him take a picture of her during the field trip. That was a cute scene. The backyard scene (unlike in Spidey 2) was pretty good. Of course there's the famous upside down/rain kiss. You know...some pretty good stuff.

In Spidey 2 it was Peter crying while MJ banged Jameson. And Spidey 3 was them acting like morons.
