In certain parts of this country(rural), it's fairly common for children to go hunting with their parents. It's not unheard of to teach gun safety to children at whatever age they deem appropriate.

Amazing what a few conspiracy theories can do. A number of these shootings involved more than one race. He probably didn't see the kid, only the white man running into his yard. Not that that excuses it, mind you.

First off, Abbott can take his heart, if he has one, and stick it where only his proctologist will find it and, to AG Paxton, it's a little late for praying.

The two of you disgust me and you're as bad, and likely worse, as the people pulling the triggers. You just aren't legally liable.

I hear you. Thoughts and prayers don't stop bullets as well as tight gun laws. Even laws won't stop it all, but it would slow things down for sure.

The answer to guns is not MORE guns, it never has been. Can't afford school supplies but they want to put a pistol in the hands of every teacher. In what world does that even make sense?

Well....I do agree we have a heart problem. Leaving religion out of it, it does seem that the value of a human life has become worth less and less. Maybe it's an employer who refuses to pay for what the labor is worth, racists killing people who don't look like them, parents who kill their kids because they are in the way, drug dealers murdering competition or selling bad drugs because they want the money. There's a whole smorgasbord of reasons why we've been treating each other like crap and as long as we keep doing that nothing is going to get any better.

They released the names of the victims from the Allen TX shooting. A Korean family (dad, mom, 3 year old killed). The 6 year old survived. He had just celebrated his birthday 2 days earlier. My heart continues to be broken.
