And Franken is out.
I can assault women but be a champion for poor children and get a pass? No. The shame is that he sexually assaulted multiple women and didnt have the decency to apologize and step down before being forced. No side is better than the other side here, Left or Right. They are all powerful men that abuse their power through sexual assault. Its a shame because he was a great advocate for other causes but it was inevitable.
He was forced. He didnt make the right decision, others made it for him. The DNC did the right thing...Franken did not. Franken is no better than Roy Moore. The only difference now is that the GOP values party over decency but who is honestly shocked about that?He resigns yet others won't. I see how it is.

Ranking sexual assault or playing the who is more of a sexual deviant game is gross and an insult to everyone who has been sexually assaulted. Who Franken assaulted is just as important as who Roy Moore assaulted. Neither are lesser or more of a victim related to the other. I am shocked/disgusted by the attempted rationalization over Frankens actions by using Roy Moore as a bigger wolf for the sheep to be worried about. I agree with everyone stating zero tolerance and not surprised by the hypocrisy from the politicians and supporters.

Franken was pushed so please with the holier than though. He got caught. Why didnt he resign before this was public? Same for Trump. Same for Moore. They are all the same. Not one is better than the other. Should Trump and Moore step down or be removed? YES. Does stepping down now make Franken a better person? NO.Actually (surprise), you're wrong. Nobody is claiming that Franken should get a pass of any kind nor that his abuses are less than Moore's. What people are referring to is Franken taking full responsibility with his very first statement that did not shame the victim's or try to excuse his own actions then also calling for a formal investigation of HIS OWN ACTIONS.
Contrast that with Moore/Trump who outright call their victims liars and/or flat out deny ever meeting or knowing them regardless of what evidence is brought forward.
Pretty big difference. In an ideal world we wouldn't have to be shocked and disgusted that our elected officials are routinely accused of and convicted of sexual assualts. We would also not have had a Trump presidency in that world I would guess. Obviously, that's not what we are working with.

Someone literally on this page said it was a shame about Franken. Ive seen people saying Franken should stay if Roy Moore or Trump are staying. That is defending deplorable actions and marginalizing their victims because the good outweighs the bad. I feel like Im living in the Twilight Zone. Who is going to do the right thing? No one wants to take responsibility for anything. Not our President, not our Representatives, not our media/actors/police/etc etc etc and most of all...our fellow people.

Well it looks like Moore is going to lose but it's close as ****.
Waaay too close for common sense.
