I think it looks great and I really want to see it, I'm not even bothered by choice of voice actors but to me the audio of the voices just seem off like its not coming from the scene but just a recording in a studio. It sounds like its on top of the movie and not IN the movie if that makes sense.

I think the photorealistic animals are starting to grow on me. They actually have slightly human facial expressions, which are kinda creepy if you think about it too much, but it works in the context.

That's how he's always kinda been. Man is the bane of animal existence as far as he's concerned, but unlike the rest of the animals who kind of just let it roll off their backs, he holds hatred.

Not sure Elba is doing much for me in the role. He doesn't sound menacing enough. There should be a certain tension to Shere-Khan and he just sounds bland (judging from the clip, that is).

I've been trying to put my finger on it, and you hit the nail right on the head...audio kind of reminds me of those old movie musicals from the 50s and 60s...the dialogue was right and then they'd go to song and it was obviously from a studio recording...the audio's almost too crisp.

But at the same time it's also partly due to us knowing that animals that realistic looking shouldn't be able to talk, so it could be in our heads too.

Still dying to see this, as it's a minor complaint that will probably fade about 15 minutes into the movie.
