Nothing's gonna change until someone recognizes there's a problem and with the "Best animated picture" category still around no ones going to recognize it seems, at least no one that "matters". 2008 TDK should have been nominated and WALL-E should have been as well and both should have been front runners not just space fillers.

So Tangled & Frozen are now considered top quality films that stands with the classic hit Disney Renaissance films. So what's next to look forward too?

Whatever next one-word adjective title Disney releases. :o

lol, sorta true the cameo of Flynn & Rapunzel opens that up.
I could see Sven & Maximus getting along as well as Pascale and Olaf .

Yes Please!! :awesome:

oh, and it looks like we finally got a "drool" smily.

so....in honor of that:

:hubba

Anyone else thought Elsa looked evil in that blue dress?

Not the whole time. But she did in a few shots.

But yeah, she looked great overall. :hrt:

Wait! What?!? Flynn and Rapunzel were in Frozen, where?

Would anybody like to see Disney tackle a live action fairy tale that they haven't done yet?

Flynn and Rapunzel ( with short brown hair ) make a cameo in the crowd during the song "For the First Time In Forever."

I think it's right when the gates open and Anna makes her way out into the crowd, although I could be wrong.

I believe Rapunzel and Flynn are in the bottom left of the screen. it's very quick.

edit: The Caped Knight beat me to it!! :o

Yeah, I love this scene. I will say this, Elsa is the hottest Disney girl in many years, especially by the end of that song.

yep!! :woot:

Elsa, Rapunzel, Bell, and Anna are the hottest for me!!

Those also happen to be my 4 favorite princesses.

coincidence??

:oldrazz:

Ya know, I've never figured out why Rapunzel's hair doesn't grow after it's cut. Changing color I understand but why doesn't it grow back?

once her hair's cut, it loses its magical properties ( which made it grow long ).

just like when Gothel cut that strand when Rapunzel was a baby, that strand of hair turned brown but never grew back. Rapunzel shows this to Flynn at the campfire.

Thanks, but why doesn't it just grow like normal brown hair would grow? That's the part I find baffling. It shouldn't stay short forever if it's just regular brown hair.

My guess is that if they didn't keep it chopped short, kids might not recognize her as Rapunzel.

I'm guessing once the hair loses its magical properties, it's almost as if it "dies." not to fall out, but it just won't grow anymore.

it's enchanted hair logic........:o

Wow look at those screen grabs from the DVD screener that was illegally put online.

well, the picture came from the Disney wiki, but if it's not supposed to be there, I'll delete it.

Maybe I'm late to the party, but I think this movie's universe definitely has some options that could make for great sequel material. Many people have pointed out that they could do an origin of Elsa's powers, or reveal someone else with powers too. I think if they ever did a sequel, as cliche as it would be; they should have the other person be a male with the exact opposite powers of Elsa. Flame. It they tried to ship it, I think it would make for a great "Opposites attract" sort of deal.

Really? I find it to be one of their films least needing a sequel, it would only take away the misticismo of Elsa's powers. And that whole thing with her finding a man with the same powers seems a lot like Disney direct to dvd sequel material

They could just have her have to use her powers to solve some kind of problem. Her powers were a problem in this movie, and nearly killed everyone. In a sequel, they can be an asset and used to save the day. It'd be a nice progression.
