I don't know why but I expect the teaser to not feel like a Disney adaption



I think it will feel like a teaser that normally should be aired during the Super bowl.

I guess what I'm saying is that this movie feels more grander than something like Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast

Well, the teasers for the last few of these leaned heavily on the familiar music. If this one does that, it's a cheap shot, since the songs aren't even being used in earnest. So this one ought to feel different, I'd hope.

Right. Unless the focus groups change the studios minds there won't be any anticipated moments like "A whole new world!!!!!!"

If the avalanche is still in the movie that might be something to draw audiences in.

This one definitely seems the most ripe for being one of the most deviant-from-its-Disney-source-material out of all of the remakes so far. I hope they do what The Jungle Book did and lean more into the original mythos, or at least meld it with whatever Disney elements they're keeping.

Well they did pretty much keep in tone with the original's teaser. No humor and no animal sidekicks except for Shan Yu's falcon.

It reminds me of Disney movies in the early 90's like "The Rocketeer"

No gimmicks or songs just a live action movie which has the Disney label

I guess we forgot Disney can do just regular movies(No songs. No superheroes)
