Well i still think this "Dante" as much as i hate him is better than Bayonetta. She was really, really stupid.

LOL...as I was playing Bayonetta and finishing it, I was left with the feeling of WTF?!? The character and story was so stupid, ridiculous and out there. Great thing the gameplay was good enough to keep me playing

hell yes! the soundtrack sounds techno-metalish and isn't lame punk music. They had me worried with a few previous trailers. The combat looks terrific as well and I'm a fan of the android demons. They're like modern versions of the marionettes from the previous games. This game is actually starting to come together quite nicely. If only they left his hair style alone, he'd actually look damn close to the Dante we know and love...though as long as this game turns out fantastic, I have a feeling I'll be able to get over it.

Yes, it does seem to be coming together very nicely, looking to be a good addition to the DMC franchise. I'm not really sure if it reaches the octane levels of Bayonetta in what we've seen so far, but that's a pretty high bar at this point, and maybe the ante will be upped as the game progresses. I'm hoping for it to at least be better than DMC4, though I'll still probably be pretty satisfied if it just manages that quality level.

I gotta say, as a massive fan of Static-X/Wayne Static, Powerman 5000, Rammstein and the Techno/rock/metal genre as a whole...it's not half bad! I only wish I could find more hard techno bands...anyone have suggestions?

Yeah, you bet. I thought so too until I was surfing the gamefaqs.com boards and ran across it. I listened to it on repeat today to the point where I just DL'd the album off amazon and I gotta say it's pretty kick ass music. I'll need to give it a few more spins for a final verdict, but it's leaving a good first impression.

I'm glad they listened to fan feedback. Its actualy looking pretty good now.

Kind of clever for them to pass it off as a reboot in case it flops, but if the game turns out to be actually good, I wouldn't mind it being added to the canon as a prequel instead.



I'm also looking forward to HD collection. I always thought Part II was underrated.

Capcom is really taking their time with this one. It'd be nice to see that they're next to a closure, at least. I don't know exactly what I should be waiting for if there's no release date.

As a big fan of the DmC games, I was skeptical with Dante's new design, but everything else I think has been really cool especially the gameplay I've seen

The new DMC still looks half assed. The fun factor looks like its been taking out. And where are all the bad ass gun wielding hot chicks???? Sounds like the new girls wont be stacked either.

Lame dude. WTF? You can have your characters smoke to look cool but you cant give us voluptuous ladies cause not all actresses are gifted that way? Maybe Im shallow but you can do both. These games have always been over the top in gameplay and design. That looks to be lost here. The levels and designs look like they are more from Alice MAdness Returns and Dante seems to have lost his sense of humor and fun. Should have just created a new game imo. This guy doesnt get it at all. Gonna miss those Lady and Trish designs.
