While hanging with my friends, I've come to notice that the word "Awesome" is used quite a bit within our circle...and out of our circle. It seems like "Awesome" is used by nearly all my friends everyday.

So, do you think Americans say "Awesome" too much?

no, but the stupid ass girls in this blasted country say "like" extremely too much.

i realize that's not correct grammar, but it's a problem, and it has to be solved by beating them into a comatose state, like this fat little fashion-major-esque ***** who's in my major (film).

Yes.
I know I do.
Wait...I say awesomeness...

I'm just waiting for Jorgamound to come into this thread and tell us how evil americans are for using the word "awesome".

I use it all the time being sarcastic with my teachers. :o It's totally awesome.:cwink:

Americans don't say awesome too much, I say awesome too much.

I do, and it is to the point to where the true meaning of awesome is forgotten.

Websters must be so disappointed in the tarnishing of such a classic and eloquent word.

and this is why my black card has been revoked. :o

I don't particularly use the word in my vocabulary.

Anyone that uses the term "awesome" or "sweet" more than once a day is no longer worthy of my company.

I think I wanna go read the Chocolate War.

I was once told that awesome was used to describe things like Hurricaine Katrina, not a movie for examlpe.

I say "dude" in about every other sentence.

Everybody I know talks like a ninja turtle. It's terrible.

no.
no way.
but i DO think that Totally Tubular should be seriously reconsidered and should be brought back.

Mmm, didn't awesome originate from the Bible? As a means to describe God?

Awesome. I use it a lot. In fact, I use it so much in such a short time span that I feel I need a thesaurus on hand all the time to find a new word to say.

awesome sauce
