I believe there is other life out there somewhere, whether or not it is intelligent life I have no idea. But we are a fairly intelligent planet some of the times and we have not been out of our own solar system and there are millions of other solar systems out there.

This isn’t a debate about Roswell, Area 51 or even the anal probe. I just think it’s arrogant for people to think we’re the only planet out here to spawn intelligent life, might as less simple microbes.

I agree. I have had conversations with some of my Christian friends and they seem to believe that God created the entire universe just for us and no other life, which makes me think WTF? Again along the lines of people who believe in evolution, if evolution happened here why not every other solar system with livable planets or plants which would be unlivable for us but maybe not other life.

I would love to see aliens come to our planet just to see how some Christian would explain it.

They’d claim that they were demons sent here to test their faith, just like they do with dinosaurs. But I think you’d see a worldwide increase in Atheism and Agnosticism if first contact were made.

There could be, I am not saying there isn't. My God, said we should only believe in him and he is our one and only. He could be the god of other planets or there could be a seperate god for another planet. Since it is not fully stated, I cannot say no or yes on that matter but it would be dumb to say deffinitely no or deffinitely yes. So, it is possible.

I'm not in the least bit sensitive. Believe me, if you knew the kind of person you were talking to, you'd know that sensitivity and I do not go hand in hand, so I couldn't possibly be offended. But, at the same time, I don't believe that it's right to make fun of people's faiths here, and I think that mods should set an example, but if you don't believe that, well, that's up to you.

Umm......I wasn't making fun of anyone's faith.....and you may not be sensitive.....but your posting says otherwise, and on a messageboard....well your posts are not only your words, but your face, your emotion....etc....etc.....etc.


As a mod, I can have my beliefs, state my beliefs, etc.....we are not set to ANY belief standards, if our beliefs are different thats cool......actually I doubt they are very different...I don't state my beliefs strongly on here, thats not why I came here in the first place, nor do I get upset if someone tongue and cheek makes a statement like mine.....nothing agressive, or spiteful meant by my post.....I apologized....so its time to move on.
