Do You Believe We're In The"Last Days"?

Funny, I always found Biblical prophesies vague and open to interpretation. Kind of like Nostadamus. Or horoscopes.

The ones that are considered "detailed and highly accurate" weren't written before the time of the prophecy. They were written after. Most of the Bible wasn't written when it says it was written or who it says it was written by.

Exactly....hehe, now when someone or something can make a prediction and say exactly what happens and gives dates, and times and it happens then I would give predictions and prophecies a harder look.

Actually, this isn't true. The Dead Sea Scrolls which contained the book of Isaiah were disovered to have been 200 years before Christ. During the 50's and 60's many Bible critics also made the same claims that the book of Isaiah was so accurate only because it was written much later after the events happened. This was proven incorrect by the Dead Sea Scrolls wich contained Isaiah in it. This is also true with the prophecies of Daniel. They are also accused of being written later because they are TOO accurate about world powers. This was also debunked because of the detailed descriptions Daniel gave about the construction details of Babylon and it's interiors.

When Babylon was destroyed in 607 BC it wasn't excavated until the recent 20th century. NOBODY could have known the details of the interior designs of Babylon UNLESS they were really there. Anyone who tried to make it up later after Babylon was destroyed COULD NOT have know such details because they were not their and Babylon was destroyed and desolated.

the dead sea scrolls are dated after the events they predict.

They simply help confirm the reliability of Scripture.

I thought faith didn't need evidence.

Of course you need proof and credibility for faith. If you don't you have blind faith. Do you know what faith even means or what it is?

Now...later...who cares? You're gonna die anyways :o

No, that would be ignorance OR blind faith. Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.

Basically, it's a strong convinced expectation of things that are hoped to happen but without being able to see it happening or understanding how. People do this all the time. People who don't understand how a car works EXPECT it to work while having no knowledge of how it works. People just expect cars to work. When people are having surgery they give full confidence in the doctor to do everything right while they are completely unaware what is going on during the operation. People just EXPECT things to go right without SEEING it happen or without knowing how it works.

Blind faith would be a a person who expects a junk yard car to work like a new car only because they WANT to believe it will. Blind faith is getting ANY person to operate on you and hope everything turns out alright without knowing who truly is cutting them open. You need evidence to have faith or else you believe in nothing with a proper foundation for you to base it on.

Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.

that means exactly what i said. assured expectation would be knowing the future. you don't. evident demonstration of realities tho not beheld. that is the so called proof of things you have no personal experience of. the realityies not beheld are things you have no experience of. you faith is believing in something you haven't personally experienced based on other experiences or claimed experiences. you leave yourself open to following someone elses interpretation of events rather than exeriencing the events yourself. it is what con men use against their victims. it is what parents use to teach their children. how do you know the con persons from the parents. you test them. but you aren't allowed to test your god. convinient.

the greatest trick the devil pulled was making the world think he was god.

Not enough signs have occured, so I say "no".

Every generation believes themselves to be in end time. Do you know why? It makes us feel more important.

Yes, but in the last days of a certain spiritual cycle (Picean age) and entering a new one (Aquarian age) which won't necesarrily become obvious to some people. Its more about spiritual consciouness and whatnot (I like saying whatnot).

its sacry to think that we might..especially if Isreal gets nuked..:(

Who cares?

Your life will be ruined if you stay stuck on depressing things like the world ending.....It may be next week, next year, or 10, 000 years from now. Don't worry about it. Enjoy life.

I personally don't believe it will happen for a long time, long after we would have to worry about it. People have been claiming the world isgoing to end for thousands of years, providing "evidence" that they're correct. How is this different than any of those other times???

Last time I checked, the moon was not blood-red, so we're fine. If it does change color, someone wake me up, please.

when the sun goes supernova the moon might look red. or an atmospheric change could make it apear red.
