E. Bison said:Do you know what faith even means or what it is?
E. Bison said:You need evidence to have faith or else you believe in nothing with a proper foundation for you to base it on.

Yes, but the funny thing is that before this life and peace, there will be death and war.Batty for Bats! said:Lol. No.. I don't believe we're in the "End of Days".
Funny, history channel did alittle special on it.
Everyone that worries about the end of days and dwelves on it, missed the entire point of the book of revelations. Its not about death and destruction, its about - with christ, there is hope. Hope and life and peace.
**** guys, I'm an atheist and I know this ****.
E. Bison said:To answer FEAR THE BAT, you must have paid attention to the verse in Mathew 24:14 which says, "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." That has already happened. Over 8 million Jehovah's Witnesses around the world have spent over 1 BILLION hours in foreign lands (which include third world countries, isolated peoples, and lands where Christianity is illegal) preaching the good news of the Kingdom. Their publications are THE most translated publications in world with the most amount of languages published.![]()
E. Bison said:Only independently each one. When the Apostles asked Jesus what should they look for to know when the last days are coming he gave them all these details as ONE sign. This meant that all these things would be happening together at the same, would link to each other and not one at a time or seperately in isolated areas. All those signs and details on human behavior would happen at the same time which is reflected in the history of the 20th Century. Of course Jesus and the apostles new that these things already took place within the history of their time but the Apostles didn't question this sign because they knew that Jesus meant that these details were meant to happen all at once when the time came.![]()

SpideyInATree said:I mean...according to many prophets...wasn't the world supposed to end a long time ago?
Wasn't it supposed to end on 6/6/06?
And wasn't it supposed to end when it was the year 2000?
It'll end. Trust me. The way I said it would. Mass hysteria. The rich vs. the poor. With the middle class stuck between which side they'd rather be on.
The white man will be extinct by the year 2100.And not because of the minorities uprising. It'll be because of the decaying O-Zone layer, which will cause more harmful UV rays to slip through, causing people with lighter complexions to slowly become extinct from planet earth. Prophecies and bible mumbo jumbo might get you through another night of sleep. But science is fact.
The black race and the hispanic race will rise to power after this decline in the white man. The world will seriously change for a while, and then...of course...these minority races that were held down for so long will soon become what they hated most...just like the white man.
And eventually the world will end simply because Mother Earth can only take so much abuse from the consuming, wasteful human race.![]()
War Lord said:Very honestly actually, because they've been sitting in clay pots for the past 2000 years untouched, so it helps confirm that the same scripture the dead sea scrolls cover also have not changed in the past 2,000 years.

Global preaching of Gods Kingdom.Matthew 24:14.
2 Timothy 3:2-7 - But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6*For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7*always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

E. Bison said:Thank you for your addition Jonty. Yes, they will also be detected by the fact that they will increase and intensify. A lot of those things have not been as bad as they have been in the 20th century. The one of ruining of the earth is at it's worst and most significant during our time. War and famine has increased and has not stopped. Disease has also increased and has also not stopped. The most significant of all is the global preaching work of Jehovah's Witnesses which has been done on a worldwide grand scale.![]()
takes one example to disprove my claim. something found in the dead sea scrolls that could only refer to a specific event. you know it well get to it. i'd rather not risk brainwashing myself by reading it.War Lord said:Actually it does, but unless you're willing to take the time to find out what has been predicted, you might not see it.
My experience with most athiests and such is that they want the answers summed up in just ten minutes or less. If it takes a bit of work to find out what the Bible does predict, most just aren't up for it.

So, you're saying that we can blame JW's?
Danalys said:ishiah and ezekiel. heh i've read their best attempts it didn't convince me that they weren't just talking short term. also under analysis isaiah shows signs of interpolation. some one ghost wrote after the fact adding parts to his writtings turns out they are the parts that perdict events so well. hind sight is 20 20.
