Iron Man 2 Do you like the Whiplash costume?

I like the look. A lot. But, I hope its like Iron Man Mark 1 armor. It needs to progress into something more armored.

+1...i don't see how whiplash is a true villain/threat to ironman at all?

i just hope this movie doesn't suck because it will ruin our chance at the avengers!

I like the whiplash look. I really would like to see him covered up a bit more maybe not necessarily with armor but some kind of battle suit. For crying out loud cover that man's face please!

I wouldn't be surprised if the suit didn't change. Just don't be hoping for a final suit to show up, then you'll all ***** about it. If he had this suit for the rest of the film I'd be fine with it.

Why would he need a mask? He's a convict who's been sent to prison whom everybody probably knows who he is anyway.

Right now I just have the difficulty of visualizing Whiplash going mano-e-mano against IM. I'm sure his whips have a limited range and what's stopping IM from blasting him from a distance? If they had went with Crimson Dynamo then we'd have a better matchup imo.

In the comics Hammer had a man who developed a computer that bypassed the refractory coating on Iron man's armor this allowed a hacking in of sorts and caused malfuntions in the armor. Whiplash teamed up with blizzard and the melter gave him quite a whoppin

Mainly to protect his head(with a helmet or something). Your right, it wouldn't be needed for identity-concealment purposes.

I'm not wild about the suit but I definately think it's pretty close to the comic. I would be fine either way, if he gets upgrades as the film progresses or if that's close to the final look it wouldn't bother me.

I wonder would fans be disappointed if that ended up being Whiplash's final look or something very similar?

The first pic we got looked a bit goofy to me...I think it's just the background. It's an okay costume, but I also it's just an early stage.

I do however, like the pic of him on EW.
