I rarely see much of your artwork in the lair, why's that?

For the same reason nobody sees much of my art anywheres - I have limited time in which to do it, due to school and work. But we got a break coming up, we'll see. Yes, Ock is on the roster. I have been promising our Ock here art for like, a year. It is time to ante up.....

Oh no, don't worry, it was definatly something I meant to do. I was stuck in the dark ages & still using Windoze 2000 & thought it was about time I got with the times & upgraded to XP.
Home networks are a lifesafer when it comes to doing this kinda thing. All the files I wanted to keep I moved onto my dads computer so I didn't loose everything. Just gotta get them back now! lol

Ok well guess what folks,I finally got a scanner.I'm still trying to figure it out.I think this is as big as I can scan these pics.I tried increasing the pic to 200%,but when I hosted it in Photobucket,it had shrunk.

Gah,I hate anything technical.Anyways I thought it was only fitting that the 1st pics I scan were those Of Ock owning Black ****ty in his gang war arc with the Owl.

And that's just a small sample of the awesomeness of this arc.There is so much more nasty stuff Ock get's up to in this arc.The final showdown between he and Spidey is one of the best EVER!!! But I don't want to post too much as we know that is frowned upon here.

The belt and cuffs threw me off, I swear. It's so sweet and innocent looking, too. This is obviously caught two minutes before the clothes come off.

Ock, the reason you're finding Photobucket shrinks your pictures more than likely has to do with the resolution which makes for a larger sized file. Photobucket will resize anything larger than 512 KB to a much smaller image, so try and keep your file size below that and you'll be fine.

And on that note, keep scanning! I'm glad you finally have a way to share all your great comics with us not so lucky folks.

The Hype ate my earlier response to all this:

First, welcome to scanner-land Ock. I am greatly enjoying this display of raw antisocial behavior you're showing us. [That is some laugh-out-loud funny stuff.] I find a good size to scan on is 100 DPI: this delivers a scan a little bigger than the actual page. Then whoever you choose to host the image shrinks it a bit & you still get something useable. That may be just *my* machine though.

I recently bought the "Hollywood" TPB [yes, I bought a Bendis product! Tell no one or my reputation will be ruined forever....] and I have to admit, the man is smoking in black. The green and silver thing was great, but black is what he OUGHT to be wearing and I will not be budged off that opinion!

Ah, what a magnificent welting he handed out to little Pete on several occasions, how can you -not- be rooting for this guy.

I swear this is a no win situation here with my scanner.Silver I tried your suggestion of decreasing the resolution,which did indeed decrease the file size.But the lower the resolution,the the pics seemed to get smaller too Sym I don't even know what 100 DPI is on my scanner lol.I think mine is vastly different to yours and Silver's.

I find the best quality pics are those in which I don't scan the whole page,but portions of the page.Like the Master Planner one I did above there.

It's a working progress.I'll figure it out yet.New toys always take some figuring out.

Sym,you bought a Bendis product?? Well you can be forgiven on that one,because it's Ultimate Ock that you bought.And he is always money well spent.Regardless of who wrote him.And Hollywood is a fantastic story.He's one crazy,sadistic bastard in that

My Spider-Man Vs Doc Ock Hamilton statue arrived this morning in the post.It's a christmas prezzie so I only got a sneak peek to make sure it was in top condition.

And it is absolutely AWESOME!!!! That pic I showed you of it off ebay does not do it justice.Not nearly.The detail on it is fantastic.The tentacles are friggin awesome.They're metal,painted in silver.And Spidey is fantastic too.His webs on his costume are especially well done.

I can't sing enough praises about it.Sym and Venom_uk,you're both hardcore Spidey merchandise collectors,get this now.It will not disappoint.

Now for a few scans I did of the final showdown between Spidey and Ock,in which Ock has delivered good on his threat and has returned to destroy Spider-Man and Black Cat in the hospital were Cat is recovering.While Jean DeWolffe tries to get BC to safety,Spidey tries desperately to keep Ock at bay.But Ock is on a vicious rampage.

Here we have Spidey trying to get some innocents out of harm's way,by herding them into an elevator.Bad move.Ock uses that to his evil advantage:

Phew,he managed to save the innocents in the elevator,but Ock is still pissed as hell:
