I can't wait to see Spidey's first reaction to Doc Ock returning.

Me too.

I wonder how it will all unfold. I think he'll unravel that Doc Ock is behind the chaos that will be ushered onto New York. Or maybe Ock will make his presence known.

Not been a good day. My comic book store told me that Wizard magazine isn't out til next week here. So I have to wait another week to read their big article about ASM #600.

Then the icing on the cake was when I heard on CBR that Marvel has pushed back the release of ASM #600 from the 15th of July to the 22nd.

WHOA!!!!! So many surprises there. Where to start?

1. Otto seems totally insane!!! I love the idea that this is a result of head trauma due to the numerous blows he's recieved over the years from superhuman foes.

2. Doc Ock's voice looks like it's robotic or something. What is that about?

3. I count six tentacles on that last panel, just like on the Alex Ross cover.

4. I know they ain't going to kill off Ock again, so I wonder how he's going to cure this?

5. I cannot wait to see the chaos he wreaks on New York in this frame of mind. It's gonna' rock!!!!

I don't like him as a mindless rampaging brute like for example, the "My Science Teacher is Spider-Man" issue. He should remain a mad scientist first and foremost. I do, however, remain cautiously optimistic.

Juding from his apperance in Amazing Spider-Man a few issue's ago, that's the kind of Ock we're going to get.

As for Ock dying, why not? The Sinister 666 is coming up. Mysterio blew his brains out and has been seen walking around with half a skull

But if I were to bet, I'd say he might make himself more machine. Kind of llike how he was in the story that Peter gave up being Spidey and Ben took over.

Very true. Though, honestly, I don't mind the fact that Ock most likely isn't going to be in "The Gauntlet". I honestly think we are going to be extremely satisfied with what we get of Ock in #600 and future apeparances.
