Hah, I like the one where he's completely upside down yet his arrows are all neatly staying in the quiver. :D

yea, makes a load of sense eh. haha

Comics, where denying physics is phun!

Sorry, i have to head to work. Good luck in your quest hon. ;)

Sorry Silver I'm not a Hawkeye fan. Therefore I have no idea where to find his comic panels. You might try Google or something.

Anyway since I did it in our old thread I might as well do it with the new and improved lair and post some pics of my Ock stuff:

The pic in the frame was drawn by the multi tentacled......errr I mean multi talented Silver S :D

I'm mainly looking for cool 'arrow in your face' poses, and if anyone would have 'em, it'd be in a comic about a superhero archer. Thanks though, I saved a few of those pinups.

Ok so I went to my comic store today to get the Ock magazine/mini statue for my Ock girls Jasmine and Silver S ;)

So I walk up to the counter with two of them and the guy smiles at me.I didn't think much of it and paid and left.I'm on my way to the bus stop and my mobile phone rings.

It's my mum and she says "You know that Doc Ock magazine thing you got yourself?? Can you get two for my friend's lads too??".My mum's best friend's sons, same age as me btw, wanted one each too.So I said like ok no problem.

So I went back to my comic store and walked up to the counter with another two.The guy behind the counter laughs and he says "Man you have got to be our biggest Doc Ock fan. That's the 5th one of these you've bought off us".

See I had bought myself one last week too.I laughed back and said "Well I probably am your biggest Ock fan but these four are not for me.Swear to god".

I don't think he believed me :o

But hey if Forbidden Planet want to know me as a die hard crazy Ock fan I'm cool with that :D

Let 'em eat cake. They know not the power of the Ock.

This reminds me of that film harold and kumar get the munchies where they go to freakshow's house and he has pics and ornaments of Jesus everywhere.

Ock, I feel sorry for you when you have to move house because taking all that stuff down and packing them all up and re-seting them up gain is going to be a nightmare. Btw if I had a room like yours I'd be happy all the time, its just so lively and animated and takes me back to when comics generally on the whle used to be consistantly good.

On another note, ock, how much do you roughly spend on comic-related stuff per month? coz you've inspired me to sort out my room into a comic shrine.

Thanks jide.I'm quite proud of my room myself.Everywhere I turn in it there's something Ock/Spidey related staring at me.But it wasn't always that tidy.Only in the last few months I've begun sorting it out and bagging and boarding my comics and putting them in comic storage boxes.I keep my TPB's on my book shelf.

As for moving house, well hopefully I won't be leaving the nest for a while yet ;) But yeah moving house is a nightmare anyways.Relocating all my Spidey stuff will indeed be a chore.

Well it depends. For example this month the Marvel magazine with the mini Ock statue has come out here in the UK.So I went and got that.

I don't buy any Spidey stuff for the hell of it.It has to be something I really want. Some Spidey fans buy all sorts like GG,Ock,Electro,Venom stuff etc.Which is cool. But me I'm pretty much Ock total. Not that I don't like the other villains. But when it comes to merchandise like figures, statues and busts.I'll only get Doc Ock ones.

So to answer your question it really does vary.On comics I'd spend between 60-70 euro.I only read Spider-Man and Batman. And between those two I don't read all their various titles.

On merchandise like I said it varies. If you see some new Ock merchandise come along I've bought it........assuming I can find it.I still can't find the ML8 Ock figure anywhere.I may have to go to ebay for one.

LOL! I've seen his name mis-spelt many times like that.

-Dock Ock
-Doc Oc
-Oc
-Octavious

Grrrrrr no wonder Ock thinks the rest of humanity is beneath him. They consistently mis-spell his name  :p

Ahh, cool. I've got tonnes of spidey posters and villain posters, I just need to put them all up, sadly I only have 4 spider-man related posters up but I guess I'll start putting them all up tonight, just hope I have enough blue-tack. As for the busts and figurines, I've seen some cool stuff over at forbiden planet in the west end, I'm also going to have to but and fix a lock on my door so my little bro doesn't start playing with them, bashing them to bits. But yeah, thanks for the heads up.

Ock, can you trade your room for mine? lol :(

If your room is filled with Ock merchandise and comics and maybe an autographed movie Ock photo from Alfred Molina then you got yourself a deal :D

You know when SM-2 came out over here, the cereal companies started putting little goodies in the cereal boxes like Spider-Man stickers, keyrings etc.

One of the goodies was a vial of tritium.Yes tritium. How cool was that??? I still have it in my desk drawer.

Yup I'm such an Ock geek :o :D

You ever wondered how Spider-Man would describe Doc Ock to the average Joe??? Well here it is.This is taken from the Troy Castro Sinister Six novels.

Here Spider-Man is trying to explain to a loser criminal called 'The Disc Jockey' that he poses no threat to him compared to the usual villains he goes up against.Spider-Man has described five of the six Sinister Six members:

"That's five. And as if all that wasn't bad enough,I have considerately saved the worst for last.Dr.Otto Octavius, who goes by the name Doctor Octopus. Here's a guy,I can't even begin to tell you what's dangerous about him.
Just to start with he's one of the ten most brilliant scientists on the planet-an expert in the electromagnetic spectrum, who knows more about the effects of radiation than anybody else alive.Combine this with the fact that he's also a totally murderous psychopathic terrorist, who only one year ago (just picking one example at random, you understand) tried to kill about a billion people with nuclear weapons planted in several dozen major cities worldwide.
Not a nice guy,and that's not the least of it,because I haven't even mentioned this special harness he wears that comes equipped with four flexible metal tentacles which move fast enough to deflect gun fire and are strong enough to swing subway trains like baseball bats.I'll note that the harness and the tentacles are made out of adamantium,an artificial alloy that once forged is indestructible enough to survive ground zero nuclear explosions without a scratch.Next to that, anything else you throw at it is just a bad joke.
Oh and the worst part of it is that he can mentally control these tentacles whether he's wearing the harness or not.In fact he's been known to command them from as far as 800 miles away".

Yup I'd say Ock is a badass :D
