THANKS for the link, UK.... :( lol I think.
Funny enough, that was my reaction when venomous 1st showed me the link. I think I've spend my bank balance 3 times over in my head looking at that site. :(

Quick Sym, copyright it! You'll get a quarter everytime someone says it then! :p lol

Sorry, didn't mean to break the bank for you guys.:p

But there is some pretty good Spiderman/Doc Ock (616) art pieces on the site too. ;)

Speaking of copyrighting...

And you showed it in here, of all places??

Perhaps you Brits aren't aware of the true nature of my Commander in Chief, or maybe you just don't respect Dr. Octopus as much as is required to actively participate here. Do your research before you come into an Otto Octavius worship thread and debase these people's hero by comparing him to a deranged, destructive megalomaniac of significantly less class, intelligence and verbal capacity than the deranged, destructive megalomaniac these threadizens (copyrighted, b1tches!) revere!
lol, nevermind Ock. I take it back. Who gives a crap. Herr, that last part with the threadizens was funny
Looks like Nicklogic owes me money for two uses of my copyrighted word, since he quoted it as well as saying it.

The price is $25 per use, so it's a total of $50.

Don't make me come to your door and ask in person. :o

:wolverine

For those wondering about the Ock figure, here's someone's eBay image showing how he's packaged:

2d_1.JPG

As you can see, the backpack is completely separate: what's not known yet is whether the arms can be detached from the pack. If so, I'd like to drill holes in his back and glue them directly to the figure, toss the pack. I have a feeling that's not going to be possible.

Mine is still in his box right now. I have work tomorrow [Thurs], I am off Friday so I should be able to play a bit then. We'll see how he shapes up.

I hope I can do something to get rid of that pack, because he's soooo cool my three Carnage figures are already thinking of ways to kick his ass, because they're jealous. :) I told them they had nothing to worry about, that the Red Menace would forever be the King around here, but you know Carnage. Guess U. Ock here will have to call in movie-version Ock for backup.

Pix as soon as I get a free minute.... later, people.

That's a sweet looking figure.

'Web splasher Doc Ock'.Geez when has Ock ever splashed Spider-Man's webs with water??? He usually justs snaps them with his tentacles.

See if you can remove the tentacles from that water pack and glue them to his back, sides or front.Whatever your preference is.

Carnage is jealous eh??? Can't say I blame him.Ock is suaveness personified.Just look at that hot blonde doll your movie Ock figure has scored with ;) :D

Few quick scans from 'Marvel Team Up #14'. Anyone else pick this up btw? Not a good issue for Doc Ock...Ouch!

Well that guy Invincible must be Invincible indeed to be able to break the tentacles like that with a mere chop of his hand

Ock has some good lines in this. But that's it.This Invincible guy lays alot of pain on Ock :( Being from another Universe I'll forgive that............just this once ;)

Back to the Ult Doc Ock figure for a second - I've seen one of these that was customised which had the old classic Ock’s tentacles instead of the crappy ones that came with it & it looked awesome. Worked really well I must say. Unfortunately I can't find the pics or the link to the site right now. :(
Think I might have to sacrifice my classic Ock... ;)

[looking at MT-U scans]

OK, you have to admit that is some hellaciously funny dialog out of Ock! LMAO! Priceless!

I dunno why some goof popping in from another universe or something can rip the tentacles apart bare-handed, when even Spidey has never [?] been able to do that, but whatever.

You guys saw the Ock tribute on Newgrounds with the Smile Empty Soul+ song right?

The what???

What is Newgrounds??

Invincible is my favorite hero, I started my run at issue 9, I plan on getting the team up this weekend.

from what I have heard it is not all as great.

... I trust I need no introduction to you plebians, but just in case some knowledge-deficit slackwit wanders in, Ultimate Ock here.

Unfortunately these pictures come nowhere close to doing me justice, not to mention this person with whom I now find myself living has an extraordinarily messy desk. However if there be but one constant in the Universe, it is that I am a survivor; the fact that she says messy desks are a sure sign of brilliance is completely beside the point. Bah!

Behold the greatest example of corporate incompetence I have beheld in many a day! This is simply beyond belief! They expect me, ME, the mighty Octavius to don this ridiculous backpack!? Is this some plot by SHIELD designed to test my intelligence?! The worst thing is that these tentacles are so firmly attached that she with whom I now live says she will need a hacksaw to get them off.

However I am so nicely sculpted front and back that she says maybe it's just best to leave them off. It is true that I am a magnificent creature who really needs NO enhancement, and so I will give this matter careful thought.

Ock: "... and what is THIS ridiculousness?"

Spidey: "... I'm the haircut police! Agggh! Hey, you're a lot stronger than you look."

118401441.jpg

Spidey: "I'm here about the $50 fine for the bowl-cut!"

Ock: "Sadly for you, anyone can see that this is not really a bowl-cut; besides, I LIKE my hair. Is that all you have? Besides, everyone can now see that I present a much superior view from the rear than you do, you annoying insect. Dismissed."

[this is a crappy pic, but he really is sculpted with an equal amount of care on both sides, which was a plasant surprise.]

".... There is no surcease from these incessant harrassments, not even for a second! How I loathe these fools and dimwits...!"

118397944.jpg

Carnage: "Catch you at a bad time, Gramps...?!"

Ock: "Are you expecting me to take you seriously...? In THAT?! And I notice you need a stand in order to pose well... tsk..."

90's Carnage: "He uses too many big words... let's scrag 'im."

[I guess I have too many villains.... they tend not to get along. :)]

Anyhoo, IMO U. Ock is a must for fans of the character, even if you end up ditching his tentacles. I am saddened by the thought of how perfect he would be, if he only had some even slightly resembling those he has in the books. The backpack totally bites.

I re-e-eally want this figure now & having seen the back pack close up, that is sooo going in the bin! Bah! Total waste of time & plastic.

Thanks for all the cool pics Sym (we asked for pics & boy did we get pics!). Looks like you had fun with the little guy today. :D

I swear that thing is so huge, it almost tips him over. It's not only large but very heavy.

The harness that attaches it to him looks ridiculous too; just putting it on him was an insult. Otherwise he stands by himself really well, I'm pleased with him. These pix wash him out a bit, he looks better IRL. His face in particular is a dead-on likeness.

I think I may try to assemble an action-figure S6.

Here's hoping we get Ultimate Electro next! And they can spare us the crappy accessories, just sculpt him some clear-cast lightning to stand on and leave off the CRAP. maybe have a tiny light in it, like Mysterio's helmet does. One thing about DC, they do focus more on how the figure looks, instead of focusing on ugly crap adult collectors don't give a damn about - that is a refreshing attitude. Toybiz should take note.

Don't you wish you could have seen these 2 doing this in the cartoon or comic? lol :(
