Did you forget what else JMS is capable of? Don't think there isn't a way to desecrate Octavius under the sleazy pen of JMS, because there is, and even if it isn't Dr. Octopus, there's plenty else to screw up.

Actually, he's pretty decent at writing in general. The problem is that he's also a really $hitty writer once in a while, and he's unethical as it gets. You said you weren't worried, and that's the part that makes me worried.

I'm not worried about how he writes Octavius.He seems to get him as a character.And I really liked his comments on Ock on the SM-2 DVD features.

I am worried about him continuing writing Spider-Man in general though.

I had decided that for my birthday, I wanted an octopus in a tank. Her name was to be Olga. And mom told me no. So then I revised my request. I said instead I would like to have a Bearded Dragon, because I miss having lizards as pets. And his name was to be Constantine. Mom told me no again. So now I guess I'm going to have to settle for a nuclear bomb named "No Octopus OR Lizard Makes Me Sad".

Well my Alfred Molina autographed pic came today.It was almost surreal holding it.I was staring at his writing and thinking "Oh my god,Doc Ock held this pic and signed it"

I know I'm sad to get such a big thrill out of that,but I don't care.I'm a huge Ock fan

Now if the bust would just arrive,all would be well.

Bah, remember when we were all sitting around out here waiting for Sony to load the first trailer, so we could finally see some live-action featuring such a great villain? There we all were on the edges of our seats, "geek!" writ large across our foreheads like the number of the beast or something. Don't feel bad about enjoying an autograph, every one of us is equally "sad," trust me. We all live for this stuff.

That said, whoever wrote that "Olga" dialog should be b!tch-slapped upside-down with a disdainful open hand, in the best Ock-style tradition. I have never.....!
