Tom Baker is my favorite Doctor and, IMO, without a doubt the best.

I remember watching old Tom Baker episodes on PBS after school when I was a kid. I was too young to fully comprehend the scope of the series back then (no internet or other accessible resources to provide background material to get me up to speed) but the way he played that role left no doubt that this wasn't a garden-variety eccentric scientist, but an actual alien being.

yep, same here... the only difference being that my intro to Tom Baker was on Sunday nights on PBS here in Chicago at 11...

When watching Classic Who, I was never sure if victims of the Master's tissue compression eliminator were supposed to actually look like dolls, or if they were supposed to be tiny corpses.

Seems like a no brainer but I am guessing they dont want two versions of the show on air at the same time along with shelling out the money for animation.

I've now seen the leaked episode 2.

"Rusty" was a good character and an interesting look at the Doctor and the Daleks.

I'm not spoiling anything by saying this - but really glad with the direction this show is taking in relation to character development. You'll see
