I figure around March or April. They'll probably want to see the orders on #98 or #99 (to see if #97 will make any long-term fans) before saying anything, and the stores should be putting in their orders in for May-June around March or April.

Well, in a worst case scenario I can get a team together. We travel to New York City. We head to the Marvel offices and wait. We see Joe Quesada exit the building after a long day at the office coming up with ways to make Marvel a much suckier comic book company.

It's at this point we kidnap Joe Quesada and hold his life ransom so that Spider-Girl can live on. Then we make other demands. Like restoring continuity to the Spider-Man titles and making them reference the clone saga in current storylines. We demand that Dan Slott write Spider-Man and Quesada through his tears accepts the demands we've laid upon him.

Spider-Girl will live on. And so will all things Spider-Man and clone related because I'm bat**** insane, and have nothing better to do but plot Joe Quesada's kidnapping over a comic book.

In somewhat brighter news, I did see something pretty cool at Target the other day that caught my eye. It was a Marvel Superheroes Magnetic Dart board. The board had changable pictures: One of Spidey and the Goblin, one of the FF, one of Wolverine, DD and the Thing, and last, but certainly not least, one of the cover to Last Hero Standing #1! That's right, a dartboard featuring Miss May Parker! That's pretty awesome, especially considering this is the first MC2 item I've seen since early on in the line's run. I might have to go back and pick it up.

The approach I've been taking is that SG is a good book that's gotten better recently, and people need to check it out. Saying it's the best will probably tick off some people, and put them on the defensive.

I've heard back from like 5 comic book stores so far who've agreed to display the flier. (It just helps everybody who enters that store to become interested in checking out SG.) Once they pick it up, a lot of them will stick around because it is that good.

That's awesome news! Definitely a step into the right direction.

Just got Spider-Girl # 95 today. I flipped through it and it certainly looks pretty good. Scriers, Kaine, Tony Stark's bodyguard going insane. Looks like another hit for Defalco and company. Hopefully we'll get to see more in the future.
