Comics Doesn't anyone else read Spider-Girl??

Marc, i understand how you feel about the Gobliness costume, but i think it signifies her allegiance to the Goblin Scriers' that Norman took over, and added his Goblin-like image to their garb years ago. Venoms' Carnage, thanks for putting that interview in better perspective for me! I just hate hearing about stuff like that, especially when it comes to Spider-Girl! And to Congo Kong, i made my way over to Crawlspace to read your Spider-Girl reviews, and they were very honest, not to mention enjoyable to read! As far as the Wizard 100 is concerned, that list is for the top selling comics, so yeah- we want to see Spider-Girl on that list, because that means the book is selling, and selling well! I'll be trying to post more actively over comic boards, who knows, maybe Tom himself will respond to one of my posts! That'd be cool! I might have to look into Jarkoer getting a subscription for my friend who misses buying Spider-Girl, but afford to keep buying comis at the moment (seems like everyone has the "Parker financial woes"). But he sounds like an awesome guy.

Even Santa has a balance. LOL I would definently want to see Spider-Girl get into the top 100. I don't care much about Wizard though, and I've heard that they don't care much about Spider-Girl. People at comicboards were once thinking about trying to give money for a Wizard ad, but Tom said it would be best using the money for the comic itself.

I'm glad that you will be posting at comicboards occasionally. I think it was Jeffers' introduction for you that mentioned this site that made me relook fixing the log-in. I had the hardest time getting in.

You like my reviews, eh? Thanks! I doubt many people follow the link to read them. I'm having a tough time deciding what to rate the latest issue. It was very good, but just how good? Hmmm?

I was actually kidding about the subscription thing! I told my friend that i would order him a Spider-Girl digest instead, to get him up to speed from the last two years! And as far as Wizards' concerned, screw 'em! I wouldn't want May's virtousity sodomized by those ravenous wolves! If Tom says don't bother, then i won't bother, i'll continue to support with my dollars, and my time, spreading the word about this book. Let me know when do put up your latest review CK, because i did really enjoy reading the others you have up already. Also, you mentioned a few times about "being published", are you a writer? If so, best of luck in all your writting endevors! One last note, Zenien is still with us, although Zen's posting has decreased lately, she still comes by to post with us, but like any crusader, you kinda get burnt out after a while. So with that said, i hope to see more posts from The Merc With Mouth in here in the future. And if you read this Zenien, i hope school went well for you last semester! (if you're still in school that is...)

Yeah, I know you were kidding about the subscription (hence the LOL).

I'm glad that you've enjoyed the reviews so much. I haven't written the latest yet because I can't figure out what to rate it. I try to be critical. The last reviewer would give each issue a 5 out of 5 which I hated.

As for being published, no, I'm not a writer, professionally. I was published in the letters page several times. I'll let you in on the Spider-Girl secret. Post letters you would send to Marvel on the Spider-Girl message board with the title "Spider-Girl Letter OK to Print" and there's a good chance that you may get it published. Sending them directly to Marvel greatly reduces your chances. Tom will be able to see your letter much easier if it's on the board.

Thanks for the info CK, i've never had my comments about a comic published before (not that i ever wrote one either...), but it'd be cool to have my comments about Spider-Girl in the letters section of the comic!

hey you just have to look for a bright side. with Spider-Girl it can get too easy to see things dark.

Also, who do you think Spider-Girl should team up with? I was thinking Coal Tiger. I love the kitty. lol I also think that American Dream and Spider-Girl would make a good team.

It's been around for a while. The image originally accompanied the solicitation for No. 77. It's the one with May in black costume squatting upside down, I think from a flagpole. The background is mostly yellow. You can find it at Marvel.com.

Good looking out Jeffers, and by the way, how was the Wizard Con? (Did'jya check out the pizza spot? LOL! j/k) I forgot that the cover had already been up, now we just need the accompanying story, and i'll be straight! And just to add my opinion on May's would-be partner, i really thought she and Raptor had good chemistery when they went up against Tony Starks' android bodyguard (that was many issues ago!), and also Felicity Hardy during their short team-up stint. She just wasn't cut out to be a Spider-sidekick!
