Comics Doesn't anyone else read Spider-Girl??

I usually do Google searches on SG after I get done with the comicsboard, looking for newspaper articles and thing. I came across this mega-thread a few months ago. I've been lurking for a while, just seeing how people were reacting to things. It's all very different from what I'm used to on the comicsboard, so I was a little intimidated from posting.

I actually flipped through one of those advance preview comics this weekend for a few seconds. Spoilers below for #80 (sorry if they aren't 100% accurate since I only looked at really fast)

A kid named Kevin is controlling a monster...I think his name is Dragon King (I have seen him in comics before)...Kevin is being picked on in school and it looks like he wants to use the monster to get back at his tormentors. May confronts Dragon King around page 5 and 6. Then May goes to school. Davida and May have an awkward moment with Courtney trying to mediate. Kids are picking on Kevin in the background. Chris shows up but I believe she blows him off because she senses something is wrong. Eventually Davida and May end up confronting Kevin and Dragon King. May has to figure out how to take out Dragon King without revealing her secret I.D. to Davida. She does this (can't remember exactly how). Davida wonders how she did it and May says would you believe I have a paranormal sense. Davida thinks she is kidding and that May was lucky. I know that some are wondering about Moose. His Dad looks like he might be really sick and is being tested..the results aren't back yet. Moose is afraid because his mom died of cancer and he's afraid his Dad might die too. I guess that is why he is avoiding Courtney..which is sad because he has to bear the burden by himself. At the end it looks like Davida and May might be reconciling

I really didn't like this issue as much as the recent issues. People that haven't been getting their fix of high school scenes should be happy though. I am really excited about the next 2 issues

sounds interesting, though!
it will be nice to take a break from all the darkness of the previous issues.
btw, the artwork looks really good (ive missed Oliffe!). :-D

According to the folks around here, you get "signature privelages" at 100, an avatar at 300, and a really big avatar at 5000.

My jarkoer-senses are telling me that a bomb is about to be dropped on Chris. Nervous? Heck, yeah! But Tom's cool, though.

was anyone else kinda dissapointed in the last issue?
idunno, its not because of their being no action or anything (and im glad that Davida finally made up)…but…oh, i think id like to see more interaction with her and her parents.

thats just what some kids do when they think that they have to protect them from something in their lives.
i hate it too but i know it wont stop unless something really drastic happens.
(and i shudder to think what that is)

i thought the issue was only ok. May just got done with her biggest improvement in her fighting style and she doesn't use it against a big tough oponent. i think next month's is the issue where May fights Electro's daughter, so Peter might have a significant role in it. has anyone heard from Blaque-Spiderman lately?

All pictures have an address on the internet. The settings allows you to have one picture go to the top of any post, and then you can have in other image addresses in your settings. Without an address though, you can't have pictures.

What up gang, BSM here, and i must say that it's good to be here- man, my schedule has sooo hectic these last few weeks! But before i go on, i have to give a big shout out to Venoms Carnage for the Spider-Girl "What-If ?" comic he sent me, i appreciate that bro, good looking out! Anyway, i finally scored my comics on Saturday, but i haven't been able toread them yet, just flip through 'em, but i was so happy to have finally been able to buy a comic book! (I know that may sound "geekish") Also, allow me to welcome all the new posters' here as well- "Welcome!" I just wanted to make my presence known that i was in the area, Hobby- good to see ya mate, please bring back that energy that brought to this thread! I will say that i miss that from reading your posts'! Thanks for the pics that someone posted too, they look phenomenal- especially the Spider-Girl shadowed one, and the one with her and Kaine- all of it is good stuff! Anyway... As always, I'm one issue behind you guys. Shipping and all that. Haven't had much time to think about comics as of late, but I hope to get more free time as we approach Christmas. Just wanted to say hi, for those of you that still remember me. I was here when this thread was orginally started, but I've been drifting in and out for the last two years (Oh my, has it really been that long?). I still stop by every now and then, to see what you guys have cocking but I don't always have time to comment (and more often than not you guys already said it all and so I just sit it out).

Just like to say that I'm still reading SG and that I'm still around.
