It would be nice to change it to that, but I think all the Spider-Girl fans know that this is the Hype's official Spider-Girl page.

Anybody have any info on the supposed Spider-Girl reboot?

I'm going to miss having this book every month after ish # 100

i think all they've done is confirm its going to be rebooted. guess it means it'll be renumbered, which i in no way endorse - hate renumbering. maybe they'll retitle it The Amazing Spider-Girl. thatd be cool

I think a lot of people will be happy then...

I don't know for sure that The Amazing Spider-Girl will be the new title, but at the Pittsburgh Comicon, Ron Frenz told me I'd like the new logo because I'm old.

Marvel hasn't officially announced the relaunch yet, but if they don't then we could probably sue for mental cruelty. The latest tease for Spider-Girl 100 is "Spider-Girl's final adventure ... or is it?"

Ok, would anyone here be interested in teaming up to make an awesome and definitive Spider-Girl website? I'm not so great with the creating of the site, but designing and data organization ARE what I go to University for. Yes designing web sites IS one of my classes, but so far simple stuff. I have no experience with Flash or things like that. So if anyone is willing, with a little skill, I think it could be awesome. Cool sections, decent character bios, Issue summaries, the standard stuff, and then some cool things like Casting Calls for a SPider-Girl movie, that sort of thing. Anyone even interested in making something like that? I'm sure if it were good enough, and if Spider-Girl stuck around, it might get mentioned in the bullpen of a Spider-Girl issue as a great resources. Who knows.

Heh. I figured the news would slip out through a channel Marvel had overlooked.

I can't wait to see if is there actually an announcement in No. 100. In the last few days I have been suspecting that, since Tom is a recent addition to the San Diego ComicCon lineup, Marvel was planning to delay the official announcement until the ComicCon.

But October, that's at leat two months sooner than I expected to see a relaunch! I hope they stick to the first Wednesday of the month release date, because the first Wednesday in October is ... my birthday! I'll be turning 41, so anything to keep me out of a depressive funk would be a blessing.
