i am FREAKING OUT.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND??????

THIS EPISODE IS LIFE.

No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! My signal got cut before the episode started!

First time I can honestly say I was disappointed by an episode of Hannibal.

This was the definition of a "filler" episode, in which hardly anything happens. The big "revelation" wasn't much of a revelation at all, and Abigail's scenes are becoming tedious because all she does is cries/lies.

Hopefully, next week steps it up, and the preview did look pretty good. This should be the portion of the season where every episode is of "I DON'T WANT THIS EPISODE TO END" quality, if you catch my drift.

The "serial killer of the week" is getting old, especially when it's treated like it's perfunctory afterthought where Lance Henriksen has one scene or Molly Shannon has like 5 minutes.

I actually prefer them treated as afterthoughts. Look at the continuing story they're telling. CSI/Criminal Minds never get to do this kind of stuff, because they're so focused on a show that's only relevant for that particular week.

But, **** me, DAT REVEAL!!!

I hope there is psychiatrist to talk to the writers....they come up with some dark stuff

I actually agree that Abigail is more a victim. She was being forced into it out of fear for her life.

And we all know Crawford isn't gonna care about any of that.

I'm just curious as to why people are so shocked by the "reveal" of Abigail's role in everything. Did you really believe she was completely innocent?

Also, I'd like to see one scene of Abigail where she DOESN'T cry or whimper. I understand that's the role she has to play to the people around her so that they don't discover the truth, but man, it's getting annoying. She's a cutie, though.

They didn't air last night's episode in Seattle because the local news wanted to cover the nearby bridge collapse for a third hour in a row. Absurd. Guess I'll buy it off of Amazon now. :o

I thought the reveal was very cool, and even a little surprising. We'd been told time and time again that Abigail wasn't involved, but were never really sure. Maybe not mind-blowing, but the fact we didn't and couldn't know for sure made the revelation a nice twist.

I thought Freddy being a vegetarian was a nice touch too.

The only thing that bugs me about the show is it seems to suffer from Murder She Wrote Syndrome. Every over-the-top serial killer in America apparently commits their outlandish crimes in and around the Virginia/Maryland/DC area. It's enough of a stretch to believe that so many serial killers would appear within that same chunk of the country in such a small space of time -to imagine that many serial killers who are as prolific as the ones in the show is another stretch beyond that, and it's a little much. I think it would be better if they traveled around, go to a crime scene in California, Alabama, Dakota, whatever. No reason the majority of the show can't still take place in Virginia/Baltimore.

I agree. The story the show is telling is about Will, Hannibal and their wacky bunch of cohorts. The other killers are given significance when it contributes to the heart of the show, and are otherwise only covered as much as they need to be.

Seems like their saving Henriksen (and probably Eddie Izzard) up for more. At least I hope so.

Don't get your hopes up guys. The show is great and everyone that I know really loves the show, including me but man I can see this being cancelled. I don't understand how crap like the Mindy Project continues to stay on tv while we are in limbo with this show. Thanks NBC for ruining my day!! :argh: :csad:

The mindy project is hilarious Thank you very much. Not to mention it isn't in a death slot and surrounded by other comedies.

The ratings don't say so. :o But if she was to ever guest star on Hannibal and he "dealt" with her, let's just say it's a win win for me.
