Dr. Lecter Invites you to Dinner. The ''Hannibal'' Thread - Part 2

She seems like such a prominent character on the show. Her absence will be missed; especially since Will has an alibi and the last person to talk to her told her that Hannibal was at the hospital. Any good investigator would immediately suspect Hannibal.

I hope he does keep her alive and decides to eat her in pieces i.e an ear, a finger, etc, so that by the time Jack figures things out and he and Hannibal fight (as seen in the season opener) , there's still enough left of her to continue in the upcoming seasons….

I dont think Hannibal eats ears and fingers. He eats people like we would eat a cow or pig. Some organs and specific pieces of muscle. Fingers toes and ears wouldnt be good for much so hes likely to kill her gut her and make a nice dish out of her liver. I suppose he might be into tongue but that would limit the character in the show. Nah I think she either makes it out intact or doesnt at all.:(

And would anyone have hesitated in her situation? I mean, if I saw whatever it is she saw down there and turned around to see Hannibal standing behind me there would have been no if's and's or but's about it. He would have taken a full mag in the center mass before he got a chance to hit that light switch.

I can see Katz walking out of there next episode like nothing had happened, due to Hannibal doing something to her mentally. If he can plant an idea in Will Graham, possibly his intellectual equal, that he murdered a young girl, then Hannibal should have little trouble using that second-rate Bones wannabe as his puppet.

She's dead.

The summary for next week's ep said something like "after the murder of someone from the team" so yeah she's dead. Or at least presumed dead. :(

Dangit. I liked her a lot. :(

The interview with Fuller posted earlier confirmed without a doubt, she is dead .

Yeah, and her death will be spectacular! (I don't want to see it). Prepare for the opening scene of next episode. And no, that's not a spoiler, Fuller confirmed it himself in AVClub interview. He goes on details, if you want you can check

I wonder if Hannibal will invite Crawford and the remaining members of the CI team to a special dinner this week.

I can't say I realized her character was Jewish.

The only reason her
death
bothers me is that I don't really like the other two guys she works with.

How many white non-Jewish guys have died on Hannibal so far? Quite a few?

They killed off Eddie Izzard last year! THIS SHOW IS PREJUDICED TOWARDS CROSSDRESSING COMEDIANS!!!!!!!!! :cmad:

The spiral in the corn tower was murderous equality at it's finest.

The Danish man plays a serial killer. BRYAN FULLER HATES DANES!!!!

While I think Anthony Hopkins' performance in "The Silence of the Lambs" will always be #1 for me, in some ways I like Mikkelsen's characterization more....not as hammy, more intelligent (or at least we see more of his multi-layered deviousness in action), and probably more evil.

I like Hopkins, and I don't mean to dis him by any means, but pretty much from the first season alone I like Mikkelsen's take on the character a lot more.

Hopkins is great in SOTL, but in Hannibal and especially in Red Dragon he's really running on autopilot.

Me, too. But I might be biased, my first experience with Hannibal was Brian Cox in Manhunter who I liked even better. :)

Brian Cox Hannibal is underrated. Gaspard Ulliel young Hannibal sucked.

It was though Mikkelsen's was born to play this character.

Ahh, that wasn't his fault. Ulliel is a fine actor and with a better script and direction would have done a fine job as a younger Lecter. His only mistake was signing up for an action movie that should have been a thriller.

I think Cox and Hopkins are great. I don't mean to diss them, but I find the take and characterization of this Hannibal better, and a lot of that has to do Mikkelsen's delivery.
