It was great to finally hear,
"Hannibal the cannibal."

Chilton was hilarious at this episode. :hehe:

That ending! Too bad it was spoiled.

*hyperventilates*

Not sure about this spoiler business, my jaw was on the floor -I had no idea that was coming. Credit to all you fine folks for keeping it out of this thread!

Man, this episode was exceptionally good in a show that is itself, exceptionally good. The secrets, the twists, the humor, the visuals...it's kind of overwhelming. And that ending, holy moly.

Personal highlight was probably that brief second where Hannibal winked at Chilton. The action in itself was funny, but Chilton's reaction was priceless.

why were the samples from lectors dinnerparty clean !?! how the f.. did he get out of that O_o

Did Jack have all the food sampled though? He looked like he got a lot of the food but when he handed it down for testing, it looked like just one or at most two.

I literally laughed out loud at Chilton's reactions. :lmao:

Based on what you guys are saying, I'm glad I don't read the episode descriptions.

Loved the look on Chilton's face when he was looking at the appetizers. And feeding a man his own leg, Hannibal? Holy ****...

Also, Alana.... make better life choices. :o

Ironically, she kinda' echoes the same blind-trust that Will had towards Hannibal, only I have a feeling she won't survive the mistake. We'll see..

Alana has gone in a very different direction than I'd hoped she would at the end of last season, lol.

One thing that kind of irked me, was Crawford so adamantly defending Lecter for the first half or so. Like, I get that he believed Hannibal isn't the killer, but he had such insane conviction about it -and he is absolutely the last person who should be able to march around saying this person or that person isn't the killer. Kind of made him look stupid, and pretty darn terrible at his job. First being 'wrong' about Will Graham (although he was actually right) and now being completely wrong about Hannibal. I'm keen to see how he keeps his job after this mess.

Can't believe nobody is talking about the scene with Gideon mirroring Paul Krendler's fate in Hannibal. Man! He took a bite and liked it too!

I think Alana's going to die this season. Will asks Jack "Who does Hannibal have to kill for you to notice him" or something to that affect and then it cuts to a close up of Alana's face. If that's not foreshadowing I don't know what is.

I think he was testing Jack to see what he would do... as in take samples home. ;)

This show gets me so damn hungry for meat... I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the implications. :csad:

Fuller and Jose Andres better put out a damn cookbook, that's for sure.

Another great episode.

What a season of really fantastic television S2 has been.

It makes me want to eat steak. :( :p

I actually had to look up who was in the well thingy, she's surely going to have some light to shed on this whole thing!

This show is easily my favorite on TV, can't wait for what's still left for us!

This is hands down the best show on TV for me. I love the psychological aspect and how Hannibal is manipulating everyone.

also, Feeding a man his own severed leg has to be one of the strangest things Network TV has ever shown. lol

Damn, such an intense episode. While I maintain that season 1 was terribly overrated, this show has really grown on me in season 2.

How long has Hannibal had her? I get the feeling after so long being his prisoner, she might be more than a little mentally unbalanced. She may no longer have the capacity to communicate properly.

I do really like that it gives Crawford even more reason to be furious in his inevitable clash with Hannibal.

I am still wondering if Crawford's finding of her was intentional on Hannibal's part or not. It's not like him to make mistakes and they kept playing Hannibal's song while it happened. If so, what is Hannibal's plan in all this?
